@@sirken2 I'm just going to destroy this low hanging fruit. This is a whataboutism. A wall in the capacity Trump and his delusional supporters / republicans wanted was to stop A) "illegal immigration" which can mean a number of things but primarily undocumented persons within the US. Majority of which overstay work visas which they get through people like Trump himself which btw he actually imported workers on visas before but w/e. B) drugs smuggling which has been primarily done through imports which go through you guessed it legal ports of entry. C) People traveling in between ports of entry aka "hopping the border". Majority of these people are asylum seekers and their first priority is to put in a claim for asylum. The initial crossing into US land is to protect themselves/family so they aren't stranded on the border in purgatory between US and Mexico like the several hundred people who listened to trump and attempted to make a claim at the border while staying outside the US and ended up waiting years many of which being subject to harm waiting for their pending claim outside of US protection. Also for the record the no tolerance policy separated families not based on violence or a threat to the child but rather simply the act of applying for asylum. So if you can't grasp anything I said and just break down or more likely don't even read it, at least take this away. If you really give a fuck about the immigration crisis then legalize and decriminalize all common recreational drugs and hold our intelligence community accountable for literally fucking with every single country south of the border. How about instead of defund the police we abolish and reallocate funding from the DEA into the ORR? I doubt i'll convince anyone of anything or get any good faith converation going here. @user-uc4vg4rg9e they got understandably upset by a bunch of beheading videos, figured out where the videos were taking place (inside an isis military base no less) by the hills in the background and a few power lines, triangulated it to within a few feet of the location, and one of the Pol members was a Russian officer who passed that information on to his superiors who then bombed the shit out of the base, killing nearly every perpetrator in the video and nearly a hundred other isis members. The Pol officer even got close enough to positively ID the dead bodies of 3 of the 5 guys involved in the beheading. That was just one incident. They pretty much did it every time a beheading video came out. There's a reason ISIS stopped releasing those videos. Because if they did, Pol would hunt them down and get them blown up. Pol actually legit has done a surprising amount of actual operations that go from silly jokes to actual espionage. They found a kid who tortured cats to death and got him arrested, they tricked the lawyer representing Stormy Daniels into ruining his own case by planting fake evidence and hiring a stripper to pretend to be a witness of Trumps acts, which absolutely destroyed his case when his evidence and witnesses vanished when it came to trial. They identified the Berkley bike lock antifa guy that was beating people during riots. Love them or hate them, they're certainly a force to be reckoned with.

One the best timelines in recent 4c history besides the NPC meme and Kekistan. Shia went to 4chan and chose to repeatedly feud with /pol/ of all places and declared war on them probably for clout to recharge his downward spiraling career and ego and was not prepared for the consequences. He brought it on himself but it may have saved his life because his meltdowns landed him in court ordered rehab and therapy before ending up like some out-of-control celebrities tragically do.

I became very sad when asmon said "this is what the internet used to be like." He's right. I lived through the entire wild west days of the internet, and I didn't even know it at the time. We were all worried that net neutrality would be the downfall. That the government would somehow find a way to censor the internet. Little did we know, we would essentially do it to ourselves. The users of the internet are the ones that make sure order is maintained. I'm not even sure many laws have passed that limit what we can do, we just do it semi-voluntarily. There are obviously still corners where anything goes, but they're becoming schizophrenic echo chambers. They just fill up with a bunch of people who all believe the same crazy nonsense. There's no more casual racism for the memes. You're either on a website that is 100% anti racism, or you're on a website where everyone is legitimately racist. I only hope that the next generation does what every other generation has done and rebels against what their parents want. Maybe then we can have fun again. I don't know where all these virtue signaling buzzkills came from, but it seems like the internet has become the place where lonely people go to project a false version of themselves and their life for other people to judge. Everybody pretends they're smarter than they are, they do more fun stuff than they do, they're more attractive than they are, they have 100% altruistic political beliefs and have never done anything mean or offensive in their life. 5-10 years ago, the internet was the place people went where they didn't have to worry about any of the stuff I just mentioned and they could just remove any socially acceptable filter they have and mess around.

HWNDU truly was one of the greatest events we've had. Sure it was ironic that the very guy who claimed that "trump will not divide us" was dividing people because of Trump, I really would've wanted this to be a celebration of people coming together even if they did or didn't like Trump but Shia turned it into the opposite of that and divided based on your support for Trump or rather wether you hated him. However those who truly where not divided by any of this where the online trolls, the tricksters the fun loving edgy people, this was before 4chan went from being an anti-pc fun place to the controlled shithole that it is now, 4chan was always a shithole but atleast back than "not hating Trump" wasn't a reason to get banned yet

@@PippyPopsSelfHarmMonica this was 8 months ago when anyone who questioned wether Trump actually had something to do with january 6 was getting banned. During the Election it was similiar but yeah now they don't really care again and I've seen plenty of posts that did get people banned a year ago. But that was mostly the backlash during the Election and January 6 aftermath. If i'm not mistaken back than they where even thinking about banning the entire /pol/ like reddit banned whatever the Trump reddit was called. What I remember most, was that 2016 was the year of Pokémon go. Hundreds, sometimes thousands, of people running around almost every city, every day, just tryin to catch ‘em all irl. Straight living their best life. I haven’t spent that much time outside since I was a child, and haven’t since. Didn’t need anything else, just me and my phone trespassing all over town in the middle of the night trying to catch that dragonite that just spawned. That shit was magical. Just having fun, talking trash, singing and dancing and having real political conversations in between all the trolling. I just learned that the guy who sang Snake Eater to the camera, known as "Jesus", went on to work for WWE! His wrestler name is Mansoor. And he married his sweetheart back in 2021! After seeing him be so nice to the internet folk and form this huge group of strangers into a group of fire forged friends... that just felt like the happy ending he deserved. God bless him and his beloved wife. I wish him and all the other HWNDU characters, including Shia, all the best in life. Particularly Shia! Ironially when you keep preaching to people to not divide you, what actually happens is that you become divided. Psychologically you are focusing on what makes you different and you are furthering the gap of understanding and compassion between people. Value the differences in people and society, but if youre goal is to unite people then conpassion and understanding are whats effective, not actual language of division.
