I appreciate a good challenge, but veterans need to remember that the skills they bring to the game should not count against a game's difficulty. It may be that you have graduated so to speak, and an increase in difficulty may actually harm the game, though you think it makes it better. It's like expecting to be challenged by highschool course work, when you're preped for postgraduate studies. It's you not them, and making highschool harder simply because it's you, and you don't want to leave is a bit silly.

Unless they changed it again, there will be no invasions on solo players, except if you use an item to open up invasions. Otherwise invaders will only be able to get into coop players world.

More games need to have a twin blade type weapon in it. Going into Monster Hunter: World, first MH game for me, that's what I wanted the Insect Glaive to be. I knew it wasn't strictly going to be like that, but it is what I wanted and what I'd have liked.

MH: World was my first MH game and I too used IG to start! After 3000+ hours I've mastered IG, Hammer, LS and CB. Iceborne was SO GOOD! I need to branch out and diversify my builds in Elden Ring. I always played STR/Dex builds in Dark Souls.

Interestingly we received environmental buffs in DS2. Water/rain raised our fire defense while making us weaker to lightning. Oil removed fire resistance. It is believed that snow use to have debuffs before the final build but the development team removed those debuffs from snow due to sheer difficulty

One piece of advice, learn the combat early because you will be rekt later. Blocking/shields don't always save you. Don't quit the game because some boss or something is very hard because the satisfaction of beating Soulsgame is amazing!!

Near the end of Vaati’s vid the character player shoots an arrow at an enemy and the enemy tucked the arrow and they will jump and dodge magic attack and arrows. It’s soo good my dude. Playing the network test kind of hurt letting it go.

If anyone is worried about the online multiplayer bug (that allows people to hack you) From is looking into it. They took all the online servers down for all their games where the bug is found. They have said that the fix will be available for Elden ring release (as of their latest announcement).

I really like the idea of being able to jump/dodge attacks based on your on movements. It really allows for good players to stand out and prove that they are true gamers.

Walking around attacks is useful too. Locking on keeps me in enemies attack range while walking but unlocked we can miss their combo and punish due to increased mobility
