I distinctly remember one of Sylvanas' annoyed voicelines from Heroes of the Storm going "The Wrath of the Lich king was nothing. Wait until you see the wrath of the banshee queen." I thought it was a joke... She's pulling an Arthas/Kerrigan move. Real subtle there Blizzard, real subtle.

1) Medivh was possessed by Sargeras even before his own birth, he was not a vilain. 2) Arthas downfall had nothing to do with the Alliance. He was chosen by the Lich King before he was born as well. All events of his life were controled so that he'd reach the frostmourne in such a desperate state he'd see no other choice. 3) Illidan's means were wrong, his goals, good. But that is no excuse for his actions. In the Legion expansion he redeemed himself; but everything that happened to him was deserving and much more. Also controled by the Legion, not fully responsible for his actions. 4) Garithos fought the scourge with all his might. Yes he was a jerk to the blood elves and he was probably the reason the Sin'Dorei are in the Horde (which is something I will never f*cking accept) but his only fault was being an absolute jerk and asshole. He did no wrong to Azeroth or the Alliance as a whole. Yes he was a bitch to the dwarven as well, but he fought alongside them. 5) The only real vilain in the Alliance was Azshara, who was a night elf, but again, ten thousand years ago, there were no Alliance. So that is not our fault as well.

Illidan was also never part of the Alliance. And Garithos was manipulated by Denethor or who, the dreadlord Sylvanas ordered Varimathras to kill to prove his loyalty. Also that was Kael's forces who got fucked. And Kael proved to be a bigger dickhead than Garithos ever did, thanks to that good TBC writing. Also it was the old Lordaeron Alliance, which lived through in the Forsaken. So if anything, the Forsaken are rather to be blamed for the actions of Garithos than Varian's Stormwind. Ofc neither should be blamed, but you know. Id wish people stop using Garithos as the ultimate excuse for keeping out elves from Alliance where they belong.

I think people are forgetting what is Sylvannas's actual main driving motivation nowadays. Before it was to kill Arthas but after that after she killed herself and saw what waits her afterwards she has been trying to avoid dying at all costs. I still think this is the case and that she is trying to find a way to control Death. Now where is the connection with the old gods? Well remember when she jumped off Icecrown what she landed on? It was Saronite or specifically Yogg-Saron's blood. Yogg-Saron is also known as the Old God of Death. So for all we know it might be that it was the Old Gods who created the Shadowlands and they feed on the soul of the mortals or something similar. This is how I think they are going to carry us on the next expansion which is very likely to be Shadowlands.

To add a little bit of perspective, I believe they didn't do anything because it was after Mak'gora duel and I guess maybe she looked pretty powerful after popping off Saurfang so easily. The powerhouses that were there aren't exactly superpowers in the sense that they may not be able to keep her there, she's sorta intangible in that darkness and I don't think Anduin knows very much about the offensive side of the light.

Wowpedia quotes him saying ''all things have souls and all souls can be devoured''. So the *old god of Death* who *devours souls* is probably still alive and (if Sylvanas has been feeding him souls) could probably overpower N'zoth. Yogg has also been known to suggest things through nightmares or whispers (seen in the Ulduar fight when you enter the portals) and influence events - like, say, the next warchief pick. Just saying.

True, N'Zoth is quite powerful, and it would be impossible for Sylvanas alone to imprison him inside the blade... But since Xalatath is considered as the 5th Old God that got imprisoned by the other Old Gods in the blade, and is now on the loose... Maybe she'll help Sylvanas imprison N'Zoth into the blade when she fully recovers? There's just the matter of a "mutual understanding" that should happen between Xalatath and Sylvanas for them to team up.

Did anyone check the logs to see what killed Saurfang? He really should have had full buffs going into that. You had a priest standing 5 feet from you, was fort too much? I know what it was, his 2 handed weapon skill wasn't leveled, so he wasn't really effective until he started dual wielding one handers. I know Saurfang's raiderio wasn't high enough for that boss fight though.

Re: the faction merge As a horde player, I've secretly (well not anymore) wanted to go back to Alliance, (especially this expansion, I leveled both factions and LOVED the Alliance side more) but, I know too many people on Horde to want to switch. If given the chance, I'd reroll human for the diplomacy trait but still play with friends. I've tried Alliance-heavy servers and just didn't feel like I fit in.

Tyrande have more than 10000 years and she always been near teldrassil and the night elves of course she is mad, the only beings on Azeroth older than her are the dragons and 3 of the 5 aspects went crazy, age bring bad habits.
