You may have fallen in an uncanny valley of comedy, sadly can't say what exactly it is. Maybe too monotone, switching up the background or emotions may help. Maybe also a bit too on the nose but not sure about that either. Overall it feels a bit too dragged out, you need something else in between. If you only go for it nonstop shorts may be better.
