My First Impressions with Tomb of Sargeras

A common misconception is that Illidan teleported Argus near Azeroth. What he actually did was open a gigantic wormhole using the Sargerite Keystone, similar to the the tear in the sky that Gul'dan made in the Nighthold but on a massive scale. Basically he just closed the distance between the two planets temporarily so we didn't have to travel in space ships for hundreds of years to get to Argus.

When Velen touched Kiljaeden that was a sign of forgiveness as you can see his face was all angry at the start before he touched him he felt relieved and somewhat happier,also as what of Kiljaeden says its like he had no choice but to join the Legion,and to this cinematic shows that he regrets joining Sargeras

Aswell as the army of the light was not as bolstered at this point either so if they did refuse they woyld have died since fel counters arcane which is why sargeras could kill all the titans by himself

24:25 the stone he used to open that "portal" is the stone that has been powering up the portal the demon hunters has been using to travel between worlds. Except this time Illidan sacrificed (ha) the stone entirely to permanently open a portal connecting Azeroth and Argus.

Everyone can see the void things, our guild demon hunters and hunters both tried to use the vison/flares during a wipe and could not see anything extra. Otherwise there would be raids full of demon hunters next week.

There was a big Dialogue speech going on in the back of Avatar when Velen and them were fighting Kil'Jaeden, thats why a lot of people in the stream were telling you to turn dialogue on during that fight but you had it off when they started talking.

they taken a lot of mechanics from wildstar raids for this expansion, jumping off the platform with the bombs to fly back up, and the destructing platforms etc basically core elements of the x89 in genetic archives. The shield and cast raid wipe that maiden does which you have to kill and then interrupt is basically bev-o-rage. Nice to see them using cool interesting mechanics.. now if only it had wildstars difficulty.. :p

for kil'jaedan achievement if you can see raid markers in the dark phase you can easily stack couple of teams with dk's with massgrip and just make them go and pull all of them togetter and others stun and someone finds illidan with rest of team easy.

Awesome video thanks for sharing. Just wanted to know if you have ever tried Details addon for damage meter. It is customizable and allows us viewers to know which specs appear on the damage meter and not just the classes. Details uses a lot of addon memory but it is pretty flexible.

IVMShiki Basically, the reason nothing changes in Silvermoon is that it is more or less in a pocket demension in the Nether. It's technically in Outland, but not really. In game code, however, if you were to get on a private server and remove the fog from the Nether in Outland, you can see Silvermoon waaaaaay off on the distance. It's like a three minute flight through the Nether to get there.

just an fyi on that guldan easter egg, if you stand near his corpse one player will become attackable and you can basically just shit on one of your unlucky raid members, it was pretty surprising when it happened to my guild and one of our best raiders suddenly could be attackable and attack us, he killed 3 people before all of us jumped on him lol, but so far it looks like it only happens once

I really like this raid so far, I did enjoy nighthold but these Tomb fights, man they really seem "alive" to me, you got the demonic fight going into the cage to clear torment, you got the light/dark moving floor, your feeding ink to a monster and got some guy trying to belly flop you. I find a lot of nighthold bosses really just tank and spank, and not a lot of movement, its like im playing the game in ToS.

Yes. During the Halls of Stone dungeon where you protect Bran Bronzebeard while he accesses the Titan Computer, he asks about the origins of the beings of Azeroth. All beings of Azeroth (the originals) were created by the Titans, until the War with the Old Gods. During that War, the Old Gods cursed us with the "curse of flesh". The Dragon Aspects that we know of (malygos, Ysera, Alexstrasa, Deathwing, Nefarion, NozDormu, and Kalegos) were the first of the "cursed" titans, but retained their power. There is more lore to be had on the subject if you have WoW. either run the Scenario or look up Nobbel87 He is a famous WoWLore person that has his own youtube channel dedicated to all sorts of lore, DAYS of content.

+Nathaniel Hagan whoa your lore is way off, the original five dragon aspects were 5 of the most advanced proto-drakes (apart from Galakrond). Working together, these 5 proto-drakes and the keepers of azeroth took down galakrond, and then the keepers granted these proto-drakes some powers of the titans which is then when they became the dragon aspects (this was all before the curse of flesh even happened)

Meanwhile in pugs everyone dps's the maiden on avatar and wipes instantly, doesn't soak on KJ or move burstin DF out of middle, refuses to soak unchecked rage on harjatan, doesn't seperate fel and light infusion on maiden of vig. after the raid being available for how long? 2 months???

We got the Kil'jaeden achievement when our druid bumped into illidan. It's totally a luck thing. Finished Bingo on Avatar when tanks let him crush only the centre piece.

What I found most amusing is the, seemingly "been there done that" thing. Raid just came out...slapped together a group. full clear on day one. I almost feel sorry for the encounter designers in this regard but, I suppose btwn all the ptr testing videos and such and the skills that come with being around so long, one shouldn't be surprised. When you can look at a boss and say basically "Oh this is just like *insert previous exp boss here* we know what to do". It seems like at this point the Mythic dif is the only challenge for alot of groups and even that seems to get cleared within the first month or 2 after release. My guild pretty much gave up on Raiding in Mists and the only raid we cleared on Heroic was Dragon Soul back in Cata. I myself have become a pretty casual player so can only comment on what I've observed from videos. I'm pretty much satisfied with being able to see the raid via the Lfr dif. I suffer from the ole gamers curse, I like to play too many games to just focus on one lol. :D

My guild is a little ragtag squad of 9/10H NH raiders. I hated Nighthold. Idk if it was the repetition or the mechanics themselves, but I just... hated it. Tomb tho? With the same guild that wipes on the easiest of mechanics with a GM that dies in the first minute? I had so much fun. We only did the first boss, Inquisition, and the Naga brute dude, but it was just fun. Idk if it's just the freshness of the raid or the design of the mechanics, but so far I find raiding Tomb fun!

He hates it but thinks it's better, also I wouldn't give too much on asmongolds opinion on warrior meta since he only reads up on mmo-champion himself and often has outdated and incomplete information since he's probably busy with tons of other shit. Join the warrior discord and read the pins and threads on mmo-champion if you want to paint yourself a picture, also look at the highest parses on warcraftlogs in one or two weeks when people got the new t20 set and trinkets etc. To see which performs best on certain bosses.
