Professional models are professional models, whether they wear a bikini, lingerie, a dress or whether they look like everyone's favorite waifu of the year while doing it for a job. The reason why some cosplayers--if not most--chooses to stay skinny or just have a good overall physique is because this gives them more avenue to cosplay different characters. These cosplayers don't just do it for fun, they also put love into it, passion and effort into it. To the point that it's not just about wearing the same clothes or having the same hair as the character they're cosplaying, they also make sure that their physique matches the character as much as possible.

I mean, how else would you say it? Attractive is in the eye of the beholder and everyone has a different opinion on it, but there is a 'conventional' opinion on attractiveness too, what is attractive to the masses, to the majority at any given time. And it's ever-changing. These days it's more Kim K, in the 2000s it was very thin models who were sadly often referred to as 'heroin chic' (which doesn't help the society when it comes to not judging people by their looks). There were times in history when the woman who made that video would have been the epitome of beauty, you will find many bodies and faces like hers in paintings. The 'conventionally attractive' is what you will see in majority of adverts, films, TV shows, magazines, internet, etc. Brad Pitt, Leonardo Di Caprio, they were massive heartthrobs and were/are conventionally beautiful and handsome men. I do not find them attractive. If you just said 'attractive men', my mind would not go to those two men, I personally much prefer Jack Black or Stanley Tucci. If you said 'conventionally attractive', I would think of BP and LDC, and maybe Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, Channing Tatum. 'Conventional' has a meaning, hence it is used. Of all the issues with the video, I'm just really confused why THAT's what you took from it.
