i have watched rav for a while, because we have the same mental disorder that makes us lock ourselves into a virtual 5v5 (but actually more like 1v9) battle arena, where we play a repetitive gameplay loop for madeup points that doesn't matter. i'm so happy that he's getting uberdanger and barney tier of attention from just about every WoW streamer in every cave on earth

I have a funny story about battlerezzing a pet. Back in the ancient times of TBC we were running Shadow Labyrinth when our druid tank Soralyn died a gruesome death to a horde of angry mobs. Thankfully we had another druid in the party that would attempt to bring him back. To our dismay he instead used this gift of life on my dead pet name Solarya which resulted in a swift group wipe. Never forget.

If you're a good gamer and you play other games well then you will crush WoW. It's a pretty easy game. WoW players only play WoW and they play it badly because they can't play anything else. And Blizzard caters to them by making the game easier and "more accessible" even though it was already paint by numbers level hard when it launched. Retail WoW is basically for brain damaged children now.

The fact Make Love Not Warcraft is STILL mentioned by so many people to this day is a testament to that South Park eps quality lmao there isn't much left realistically of vanilla wow in its og integrity anymore and SOME not all of that episode is pretty accurate at showing vanilla wows old experience lmao. Even Rav bringing up one of the best quotes is proof alone considering he didn't play wow before this but liked the episode enough to quote it.

It's funny how Asmon always talks about how classic players are slow or bad while an average classic player in actuality is better than entire servers on retail. Players aren't better today than back then - they're way worse in fact. You see that on how long some bosses took to beat for guilds (in the original expansion) and they never achieved it until Blizz decided to nerf most old raids because the players were too bad. They released the classic raids already in the nerfed state (because the base game was built on later patches) so it was way easier than in actual Vanilla or BC and as soon as they had harder raids like Naxxramas, Sunwell or Ulduar guilds started to disband because it was too hard for the average retail player and their 2 button rotation. In retail shit get's nerfed instantly because the people are just freaking bad and basically no oldschool WoW player with skill still plays retail. If you find them in any WoW version it's classic because that's where skill wasn't patched out yet. So nah sorry, retail players are way worse than classic players. Because they got everything handed to them and never had to actually think about shit. Whenever they run against a wall they just cry so loud that daddy Blizzard comes running and makes everything easier.
