I too was like this! Started watching sodapoppin like almost 8 years ago, had seen lots of WoW growing up as my brother played it. But I found his streams super entertaining even though I didn't play. And then I found asmon and rektful and mitch ect. Watched all their content, but just recently with season of discovery my brother and a few friends asked me to play. Man it's a blast lol. And from how much wow content I've watched over the years. I basically already knew the game in and out. Like indents mechanics lots of players don't know, I knew about as a non player. So all my wow knowledge has helped a ton when starting to play.

As I understand it, Soda's addon didn't actually break. Supposedly it was a stream sniper trying to make them wipe, you'll notice that the 'i' in "Mainfang" is accented, apparently someone rolled a toon with the 'i' swapped so they could tell people and have them think it was Soda at a glance.

This is how you turn a game into a streamer/tv series kind of show. How many of the viewers prefer the watch these vids than play the game? Of course it's still enjoyable to play it, but this kind of stuff is unattainable by the average Joe. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this kind of content.
