Then Side Scroller's Craig said it. "He transed his kid." So to him, this is DEEPLY personal. Since Failguard is basically a trans interactive-lecture video, Jaffe considers it a test to see how much of the country (or the world) agrees with him. In his mind, the more people like/buy the game, the more it VALIDATES his parental decision to transition his child. But if the game fails--and it clearly did, then that means, AT LEAST to him, he failed his own son.

I think most people would agree that Vara Dark is an attractive individual... and there is a reason why attractive individuals tend to work better in front of a camera. As a person who cannot stand Vara's voice, I still respect the effort and work she puts into her videos. But the lack of self awareness to say she's only relevant due to her looks and gender to downplay the work she's done to actively create content and have a viewership, then usually the same people will go around as well that they don't understand why Zack is so popular when he's so unattractive, is so funny to me. Vara is extremely professional with her public image, from what I've seen she doesn't thirst trap, dresses professionally and talks in a kind of newscaster vibe. The problem with people like this is that they operate on low resolution thinking. Of course attractiveness is a factor to success, but it’s one factor among a multitude of factors. These kinds of people are incapable of assessing the situation with more than a couple factors when making up their opinions, which is how you get “she’s only successful because she’s an attractive woman”.
