This reminds me of when I worked for a call center back in the early 2000’s. It was for Police and Firefighters. At the beginning; didn’t know how it worked. Became an assistant manager; found out the two brothers who ran the place were wealthy because of their parents and set it up as a disposable income type of setup. Shitty offices, crappy tech, low wage workers. They paid telephone companies, whatever amount of money, and we got names, addresses on stacks of paper that we had to manually enter into the system overnight. I learned, as an assistant manager - we only donated between 1-10% of our earnings to the police and firefighters. People would donate hundreds and thousands of dollars. Our callers, at the time would make like $6.25 an hour and would get anywhere from a $25.00-$100.00 cash bonus. Man, thinking back on it, I was a stupid kid who didn’t understand we were being used to rob people.

This is how all charities work. So long as they do what their statutes say (and it's best when they are vague on concrete action such as "raising awareness), it doesn't matter how much of their proceeds actually get to that target. All the employee wages, executive bonuses and other costs of doing business come first - and we all know how easy it is to inflate them, circle the wagons and make everything appear legit that only a single digit percent of the proceeds actually gets to where the donator thought it would.

I see a lot of people hating(lack of a better term) on the investors and I can see why it's just I think more people need to take a more empathetic approach. I used to work in banking and one of the things I was trained in was scams and fraud prevention. You'd be surprised who would come in and say they were scammed out of their money. It can happen to ANYBODY, even the people who say the victims are naive. Even Asmongold. All it takes is someone who is cleverer than you and everyone hates admitting someone got the best of them. Add to this his reaction on the phone "It seems your biggest problem is me selling" (and not me being the guy who started all of this) seems to further enhance this point. Even though there's no hard proof, it sure seems like this guy had the entire thing planned out right from the start...

Technically Cryptoking screwed Logan and the rest over first. He wasn't supposed to have that much from the start but decided to bot buy and invest more than what the group decided on. Eddie was kings inside men. Hence why their actions were similar and why king got the freedoms after he was fully frozen. Or they all in this together and just needed someone to come out as the bad guy so logan can go ahead with the next scam

If Logan vows to pay the investors their money back and follows through. It might save him, he can actually do it without losing much judging from his networth.

Did these guys who bought into Logan Paul's scam never read Jack and the Beanstalk? It's hard to feel sorry for adults who bought magic beans (eggs) thinking it would make them rich.

I will always have and always will say influencers are the least people you should trust. especially investing and spending money on them. 99% are scammers. Only a handful of influencers that are genuine to their audience.

7:54 Wouldn't that be some form of insider trading to buy a significant amount of the supply, right before an announcement made by themselves that would definitely drive the price up? These tokens would be some form of OTC security. I was not able to verify whether that is legal or not, the Wikipedia article only says insider trading is for publicly traded companies stock or securities. All of this seems wildly unregulated. This would probably fall under wire fraud actually.

After watching this again.. I find it interesting how Eddie was able to finesse Steve Ross ceo of the Miami dolphins. Steve Ross is more than likely a huge con artist himself who somehow got in charge of a wayward franchise. The nfl actually suspended Ross for some of the 2022 season as the league continues to investigate him. I'm referring to the text messages at the 320 time stamp.

I agree that scamming isn’t as bad as murder. But you still shouldn’t do EITHER of them.
@mrszmatan2727 Жыл бұрын
I'd say that, it's easier for me to be convinced that murder was justified than this type of scam. i don't mean just scamming as stealing to survive, because it's actually quite easy to defend reasoning behind it, you can aknowledge it's wrong but you can see why someone would believe it is right. I feel same about some murder cases, I know they are terrible, but I understand why murderer would believe he is in the right. This type of behavior, I can't find a way to justify it. Logan Paul is already rich, he pretty much can afford everything he would reasonably need, even if he needed expensive surgery for family member or other thing like that which could make people go soft.
