Eating an oyster is like swallowing a giant ocean flavored ball of snot. You can’t chew them so you have to swallow… yuck

@@dreampainter2011 Always chew the oyster ! It is alive until you kill it by chewing it, if you don't you could end up with digestion problems (diarhea if you are lucky, but you could get stomach pain and nausea )

You should try them fresh out from water to have the best experience, if you can found some on rocks, pick them and eat them straight after, you'll get that incridible fresh oyster taste ! I always bring a lemon when I go oyster picking. Don't buy them from supermarket you have 50% chance to get either bad or not fresh oysters. I don't know if it easy to get fresh oysters in your country. In France we just have to go the fish stand on markets or at the port to buy really good oysters

Alright 2 questions since I’ve never had oysters before but they do look like they would taste good. 1: why do you not dump out the liquid when your eat the oyster? Isn’t that salt water that cane through the shell? 2: i thought you were supposed to cut off the digestive part so it didn’t make you sick. (Maybe I am thinking of clams🤔)

I think you thinking of fried clams. Sometimes you can get clam strips what don't have the bellies and sometime they just deep fry the whole clam. Having the liquid in the oyster is part of the experience of eating them. The salinity depends on where the oysters came from. The ones I had were Wellfleet Oysters from Cape Cod
