This may be a dumb question to ask but with all of the optical equipment... how often do you (and how complicated is it to) recalibrate and validate proper calibration of all of the optical equipment? I worked briefly at a medical device company in a temp position, but I remember having to deal with all the records of when all of the manufacturing equipment (and also all of the maintenance equipment) had to be periodically recalibrated along with other maintenance. And the documentation had to also be paired with calibration and validation instructions for the respective part/device.

Almost like a teacher, when I grow up I want to study the eye and become a optometrist and I just think it would be a cool idea if you went over the eye as a topic and anything involved with it.
