Ah, that sweet sound from that X15! For being a newer 2018 model, this one actually sounds real good, especially with the windows down! Love that turbo blowoff when you let off the throttle to shift, and that jake sounds real good on this one! I know there's a bit of talking in this one, but it's all good, I still enjoyed every moment of it, from the takeoffs, shifting, jake brake, slow driving in traffic, and cruising on the highway! Only thing that wasn't included was engine start up - perhaps on the next one! And speaking of which, please, please continue to do super long ASMR's, with engine start up at the start, plenty of takeoffs and shifting through the gears, cruising, jaking, and everything with windows down, this C509 sounds like an absolute beast, and I could just listen to it all day long! Hopefully in the next ASMR, the X15 will do all the talking... I just love listening to that X15! Please let me know ASAP.

I run in and out if Geelong a helluver lot, but it’s basically just down Craigiburn bypass, ring road,then Geelong Fwy and u can NORMALLY choose when I go through so I can avoid the sh*tfights….. one of the advantages of tipper work…..although Melbournians haven’t (yet) got used to B-Triples. They see a few 30 Metre A-doubles, but the extra little bit of length seems to confuse them a bit. Amazing since the rest of the country has been dealing with a whole lot more length for a long time. I always found that the first thing you had to do after arriving in the city was turn the two way off. There are just so many idiots. There is nothing better than the sound of Jake's in a tunnel.

Ha ha. Yes turning off the radio. It's pointless in the city. Sometimes people try to say hello on it and I miss them though.

Hi Johnno, great POV vid ... with such a long bonnet (hood to our US viewers) are there any tricks to making sure you are in your lane and also not too close the vehicle in front when driving in heavy traffic like this, looks like there are a lot of blind spots out the front, cheers, Garry

Thanks Garry. If you want to mage sure the truck is right on the fog line then I put the centre of the fog line on the centre of the bonnet.

id love to come out their and drive road trains but the idea of reversing one of those frightens me lol. I can manage an artic in the Uk fine but something about it seems crazy

I actually saw one of yours in Geelong the other day but pretty sure it wasn’t you, Johnno coz I reckon the truck was far from new. It was tidy enough, but you can tell if they’ve done a k or two!!!!!
@RoadTrainAdventures11 күн бұрын
I was in Geelong last Thursday so one of those could have been me.

@@RoadTrainAdventures I can't remember when it was, but it might have bee neither early last week, or late the previous week. Your trucks kinda stand out a bit.

Hi , just watching the latest video of the new truck , is that a crack in the windscreen already? And if so how did it happen, l really enjoy the videos and seeing where you go 👍
@RoadTrainAdventures10 күн бұрын
Ha ha. Yes it's a small crack down low. Whilst I say this is a new truck, it's not bran new. It's just a newer truck that I've moved into.

Hello Johnno, thanks for the very informative video, just asking what is the safe distance between 2 semi to stop safety in traffic. When i am travelling on the highways i see semi travelling in the same direction so close to each other i wonder how the rear semi would stop in time without rear ending the semi in front. Thanks Stephen
@RoadTrainAdventures11 күн бұрын
It really depends on each truck but I wouldn't be any closer than 5 metres or your can't see anything in front and you need a little buffer to the next vehicle.
