NEWEST TINGLE TEST HERE: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2eygJ6rjNGlibc Scoring: 0 - You tingled before the test even properly started! Your tingles are strong and active! What is your secret? How often do you watch? When did you start watching? You are fascinating and I want to study you. I have nothing I can offer you, wise one. 1 - Your tingles can be induced with some simple but skillful ASMR. If you usually don't get tingles and were surprised to get this score, try mixing up who you listen to! There is a lot out there, so there's definitely more out there that will get your tingles up! 2 - You need just a little more stimulation than you used to. Try seeking out videos with different accents, visual triggers, or deeper/higher voices than your usual choices! You're in a very normal level of tingle sensitivity, relatively speaking. 3 - You're at a point where tingles can be very hit or miss. Sometimes it hits JUST right, sometimes you go a week or two without anything working. Try older or lo-Fi ASMR, videos that make you interact with it like with following directions, or echo whisper videos. Basically trying to create a different 3d space being filled between you, the person in the video, and the sound flowing between you. It could be a good time to switch to rain sounds, sleepy ambience, white noise, non-ASMR sleep meditation, or binaural beats for a while to help reset your tingle levels. Maybe 2-3 weeks of no ASMR would help! 4 - The level of stimulation you require to get tingles is getting pretty high. For tingles at your level, try fast and aggressive ASMR videos. Perhaps shorter videos that you watch on repeat might also benefit you. I would definitely suggest taking a break from ASMR for about 2 weeks to a month if you want your tingles back. In the meantime, try binaural beats or sleep music at night! 5 - Your tingles are somewhere under there! They can be clawed out with some intense ASMR that works on several levels at once. Seek out intense, rapid videos with multiple layers of audio. Perhaps my Most Tingles series can help as well: kzbin.info/aero/PLCqQj5Vu3CEZu7AZXh19JMkrmV5pKblHi 6 - You experienced no tingles at all during this video. Do you tend to skip around videos, bouncing from one to the next, and read comments or do other things while you engage with ASMR? It might be helpful for you to practice watching and listening to videos at the same time and let the video play out naturally. A lot of times ASMR is an experience that builds on itself and if you are never giving it a chance to build up the tension then you are missing out on a lot! I would recommend taking a break from all ASMR for a month or two to get your tingles back to where they used to be.

Blank space for those who want it! 💛 Have a good rest of your day/night ♡ and to those wondering why this is a thing, for me i find this useful because im on youtube dark mode and the blank space helps with not making my screen so bright (brightness makes it harder for me to sleep) Usually the white text from other comments, video recommendations, and description have visuals too bright for me and i get distracted by them easily. i find it super convenient to have my comments section open, left on this blank space so that i can sleep easier:) I hope this makes sense

Stage 2 is something special. I'm tingle immune to a lot of sounds but you always come up with new ways. Definitely keep stage 2 in your book cause it's truly one of the best triggers I've heard in a long time. I think it's that like whistle that pops when you say the words.

6 - I’ve very rarely felt tingles from any ASMR videos. I mostly just use them to help me switch off to sleep. (I’ve taken breaks from it too) I think that I prefer the “old style” ASMR videos, opposed to the more common current style which are purely RPs, so videos like this which are sounds, layered effects, etc are nice for that! I’ll keep listening to your videos, even if I don’t get tingles from them!

I have, in my entire life, only experienced "ASMR" 2-3 times. It's just not something that works on me in general. I do, however, find it incredibly relaxing and comforting for some reason. It's just so honest and silly that it feels nice knowing people put themselves out there like that, and it makes me happy. Even if I feel absolutely nothing 😂

Stage 1: didn't tingle, but it made me extremely relaxed, its one of my favorite triggers Stage 2: Tingles. The way you enunciate sharply in this stage scratch an itch in my brain that I didn't realize was there and its so satisfying... Stage 3: Tingles but not as strong as stage two. Stage 4: No tingles, but it made my eyelids shut as if they weighed a ton, this is a knockout trigger. Nevermind, what you did at 18:16 gave me shivers/tingles down my entire back... wow, that was intense, especially when you switched up. I notice I tend to like intense asmr when it switches from calm to very intense. Stage 5: This was amazing... especially the up close whispering and the wood scraping (if that's what that was)!

stage 0, maybe 30 seconds in, the subtle popping/crackling wet mouth sounds? idk how to describe them but they were definitely giving me some nice tingles. i’ve been listening to gentle whispering videos before people were calling it asmr! i think whisper crystal was the first youtuber i regularly watched to get my tingles, maybe around 2011ish… also i can kind of turn my tingles on and off to a certain degree, if that makes sense, like if i focus my attention to my lower/middle back area along my spine, and imagine tingles, sometimes i can even make them happen without any triggers, or if i’m listening to asmr i can kind of intensify the tingles. tbh it really depends what kind of asmr is gonna hit right for me, depending on the day. and now there are so many creators with so many different techniques, we are truly spoiled with how much there is to choose from! (not complaining, just get a little decision paralysis sometimes when i’m trying to find the right asmr video to watch lol) also super random but your “you are the universe” video is legitimately one of my all time favorite asmr videos and it’s one i always find myself coming back to, it’s given me much needed comfort and peace at different low points in my life, thank you for what you do! 💚

Stage 0 - I don't know how but I get tingles for literally every ASMR video. It could be because my ears are highly sensitive but I'm not sure. I started listening to ASMR back in 2016 and I've literally fallen asleep to it every night up til now. My parents used to sort of whisper talk to each other while I was trying to sleep when I was younger and I found their voices comforting. Ever since then I'm not able to fall asleep without listening to some sort of soft sounds to sleep aka ASMR or else I'll be awake until 4 in the morning, no exaggerating. With ASMR I can fall asleep in as little as 5 minutes, 10 minutes for the most. I love this video btw, it's just right 🤍

0! The intro was enough. I watch ASMR daily, usually in the morning and at night. But when I watch in late the afternoon I won’t get tingles at night. I switch up triggers and ASMRtist a lot. I know some triggers will make me tingle alot but only for a minute orso and won’t be able to tingle after that point so I avoid those (like layered sounds/fast tapping). But I get tingles daily for sure! For over a decade now too. Quite lucky in the tingle immunity department I guess.

0- If done right I need very little to feel ASMR. At some point I thought I had tingle immunity until I changed the content creators I was use to watch. I started watching ASMR when I was 13-14 years old, because my sister introduced me to it, I watch ASMR sporadically sometimes 4 or 5 videos a day, other not at all, only 1 or 2 to go to sleep, maybe a really long video as background sound while I play videogames. Since I was very little I been struggling with extremely light sleep (any sound no matter how little it was it shocked me fully awake) and chronic insomnia, after I started listening to ASMR I was able to sleep more hours without waking up during the night as frequently as I was used. You ASMR contact creators literally saved part of my mental health by letting me sleep even if just a little longer.

Hi Bekah, I love Stage 2's enunciated whispers! Is there any ASMRtists who do this trigger you can recommend? It sounds a lot like Cardi B's ASMR video and I think that's what I love most about it and people imitating it, so would love to find more like this.

I'm a new subscriber of today. I experienced the tingling at stage 1 for sure. But by the middle of stage 2? I suddenly felt this tightness in my chest. Like my heart was being squeezed. I continued to feel this throughout the other stages. This feeling bothered me. Not any of the ASMR. I think the best way to describe that feeling was a Fight, Flight, Freeze response. Not because of the ASMR. I think the ASMR confirmed something in a very reverse way. I have always understood my trauma was due Safety, Security, and Love being weaponized against me. Meaning all of the good things that should have helped me feel the positive and healthier side of life were used in in some manner of way to hurt me. Whether they were used as leverage, or some form of bribery or conditioning in tandem. I understand my trauma somewhat trained, conditioned, and even brainwashed me to want to run. To run away from all of the healthy and good things in life. Things that a person should want to run towards, embrace, and be embraced by. The fact I got a 1 and then suddenly stared to relax? And then by stage 2 my body was like WHOA! WAIT! Hold on. This is good? Then my heart felt like it needed to immediately constrict or close up? It means that the AMSR is Good. It IS healthy. It's just not something most of my life was used to before I realized those things are Good. They should not make a person feel like their heart is being choked. So I want to clarify with you. Your AMSR is Good. It is Healthy. It is relaxing. It is something that in time? Might help me learn how to feel like when something is Good? That I'd not need to feel like I'm having a Complex PTSD episode. I think you have a very helpful tool here hun. Please don't think your ASMR caused me any harm. It just confirmed and reaffirmed what I have always known in my adult life. So I can work through that own days when I might need to relax. Preferably without feeling like I am unsafe simply for feeling safe.

0. The whispered explanation got me. I am extremely sensitive in general, in like every sense of the word. I used to get what we now describe as ASMR as a little kid. Playing heads up 7 up in school is one early memory. Also the quiet parts of church when the priest was micced but everyone was quiet and you could hear his vestments rustling. I first started watching ASMR videos about 12 or 13 years ago. It started just watching people show their collections of small toys (rrcherrypie) and I saw someone in the comments use the term asmr and then started finding videos. Like I said I’m extremely sensory sensitive in every way, ticklish to the extreme, can’t take loud noises, low pain tolerance, cry easily, just very very very sensitive.

as a follow up to these videos, You should make 6 videos that correlate to each level. One video per lever for levela 1-6 and through out the video you alternate between the level and "level 0". For example, in a video titled "Tingles for ASMR level 5" You would do triggers at level 5 for say 5 minutes then level 0 for 1 minute (as a break so it doesn't get oversaturated). One video for each level. Not sure how long or how much work that would be but it just sounds like an idea that would be right at home on your channel. Love your vids

I've been desensitized to most triggers at this point but the enunciation did it. Nobody really does enunciation or weird pronunciation as a trigger. I'm talking Gman-esque unusual emphasis. I'd love to see more of that.
