I would love to see more videos of New Zealand! I grew up there and just moved overseas this year so it’s nice to hear a bit more about home as I fall asleep😊

The drowsiness that comes over me while watching shows it's working well.❤👍

I truly appreciate that you are focusing on my part of the world I feel the world only knows Auckland and maybe wellington. I grew up in Tokoroa which is in the Waikato really close to Rotorua. Thanks for the video!

As someone from Bay of Plenty this video makes for an amazing asmr experience 🎉 Your pronunciation is very good for someone who’s first language isn’t Māori/Te Reo, little things that everyone gets muddled up with because of our vowels and spelling but keep up the amazing videos ❤

You made a really good improvement in pronunciation. Thank you for putting in the effort. Regarding the trees, most of the places you pointed would be pine tree plantations. Pine trees grow fast in New Zealand, I think around 25 years to get to the right height. But they are used for timber; they are chopped down and then replanted.

Have you heard about the White Island volcano eruption? There used to be excursions out to the active volcano and it exploded with people on the island in 2019. Really sad story, not sure exactly why I’m bringing it up. Hard not to think about it watching this.

Yes. Rotorua has a very distinct smell. You know when you’re getting close. But you’re right you kinda get used to it. Even just visiting it’s not unbearable obviously since it’s so popular.

My Dad is from this area. Most of my Aunts and uncles still live in Rotorua, and Tauranga. We live in the states now.
