i’m a college student going through a rough time right now with a lot of mental health issues. i’ve been using asmr to sleep for weeks now but this video made me so happy. it reminded me of when my mom read me books before bed when i was younger and getting ready to go to elementary school the next day. it’s so comforting and reminds me of simpler times. thank you so much for this video ❤️

Thank you Jenn! You are right! I handle it that way on purpose. But that’s exactly how I think I remember it from my childhood. That teacher had to turn the book around for everyone to see and move it from one side to the other. Remember?

So glad I found this! I didn’t watch it all just the beginning as I’m trying to find whispered bed time stories but without all the tapping and scratching of the books because I leave the stories playing for my son at night but when the tapping and scratching starts he always gets startled and asks me what all that noise is. 😂 Thanks for not doing that!!

I totally understand what you mean. I personally dislike repetitive tapping. Unfortunately, I never read children’s books in a whisper. Actually, I don’t think I do any of my reading on my channel in a whisper because it lacks inflection, in my opinion. I love that! 😅 Quite a few people have told me that they let their small children listen to my videos. Not just the children’s books. 99% of my videos are children friendly. And I do have a lot of whispering videos. If the stories work for him and you run out of different material for him to watch, consider trying my soft-spoken/whispered playlist.
