I love your new ring and the tingling sounds it makes ❤️ I adored Guncle as well…very heartwarming and made me laugh quite a bit. I do take my dust jackets off bc they annoy the heck out of me. I just finished Migrations bc of your recommendation-5 stars ⭐️ Loved it. Still working on The Night circus-I just read a bit before bed and I’m enjoying how enchanting it is. these are my favourite videos of your channel. thank you. thank you also for the answer about buying books, never asked, but i always wondered about how did you buy your books, because they feel so new always. I leave you a few questions: how do you choose the books you get? what is your criteria? design? review in the back? known author? hugs! PS. I recommend you Oyasumi Punpun manga and a french comic made by spanish authors, "Blacksad", it goes about an antropomorphic world where the principal character is a black cat who is detective. it's so good.

Of course! Happy to answer your questions :) I typically choose new books by genre of course, but I also will always check out Goodreads reviews before I buy any book. If they are over 3.7 stars and fall into a genre I like, I will typically add them to my list. Also if there is an author who I already know I like, I’ll typically just buy any new books they publish. My “want to read” list on Goodreads is so long that I am always just buying books from that list for the most part lol. I’ve heard of Punpun! I’ll check out Blacksad. I agree that paperback books are superior. Dust jackets are extremely annoying and I do take them off while I’m reading. After I finish a book, then I put it back on. 15:46

thriftbooks for used books. Pretty cheap, they have everything, they offer different editions and allow you to pick the condition of your book. The only downside is shipping takes a bit.

Love beastars! I do have psychological thriller recs for manga. One is called death note, both the anime and manga are amazing. Tokyo ghoul is another amazing horror/thriller manga (the anime is only good through season 1/2 tho). Also I definetly will have to pick up Guncle, been in a reading slump and need a heartwarming read.

I def understand what you mean by the unnecessary anime female anatomy thing lmao It’s called “fan service” 👎🏻👎🏻. You can google non fan service anime to find some good ones! Two I like are “Erased” and a classic “Death Note”…both are adult, violent and no fan service! Adding Steins;Gate to my summer watch list P.S. love the book asmr ^o^

I do, I love the adore the library atmosphere and I actually seriously considered becoming a librarian as a career path. However, I don’t typically use the library for two reasons main: one, I like owning my books, and two, a lot of the time when I’ve wanted to read something in particular it’s been checked out and I’m very impatient lol
