Thanks for sharing about your dad. My ex husband left me and my girls last New Year’s Day, moved to San Diego and the girls barely see him. So I can relate. My dad (dead now). Was a nightmare of a “father”. So again, I can relate

Yes, this. My heart cat died in 2017 from eating poinsettia leaves. Within a day of eating them she had gone into full renal failure. She was only 4. I had no idea about the poinsettia thing. I will never stop feeling guilty for that, and take extra precautions with plants and my cats now.
