i appreciate the “tickles! oh, no? okay” soooo much! i hate being tickled and no one ever stops when i tell them to stop. i’m an adult now so obviously it doesn’t happen very often but it did when i was a kid and i hated it but people, especially my grandad, would think i didn’t mean no bc i would laugh. so thank you so much for scripting an adult that actually listens when kids say no.

I subbed to you just a couple weeks ago after finding your dad series, I’ve watched them all multiple times and I absolutely adore them. Everywhere from your kind smile to the realistic conversation you set up is just perfect. I was hoping you’d make another and I was eagerly waiting until I could finally get the chance to sleep to enjoy it. I pulled an all nighter last night and today was just so emotionally draining so I’ll probably be out within a minute but then I’ll just have an excuse to watch it again tomorrow haha. Seriously though, I really wish I had the words to tell you what these videos, what you, my good sir, mean to me. My dad and I don’t get along in the slightest and I’m terrified of him, yet I’m constantly craving a parent’s love. I could go on and on about how thankful I am that you’ve helped in such an impactful way on my recovering heart, but my eyes are begging to be closed. Goodnight, dad ❤️❤️❤️

i’ve always felt weird to be on these videos because i have a dad, and he’s really nice, but i have absolutely no relationship with him and because he’s never had a dad i understand why he never knew how to grow one. it paired really badly with how often he used to tell me i needed to be skinnier and was always so nice to my other siblings, but he’s honestly a great person. i still always look for that kind of comfort everywhere else and stuff like this never fails to make me sob my eyes out. thank you so much. you deserve all the blessings the world has to offer you🫂

I have no idea what is like to live with your father and see him literally everyday all time . I live with my mom and mom’s family after my parents divorce when i was 5 . It feels weird for me when i see a moment of father and his children . Growing up feeling jealous of my friends and mates cus most of them have a good close relationship with their fathers and me just being the “ smart perfect pretty girl “ that everyone say all time and me looking at the special thing they have . Once my friend she was talking about her father and how they sometimes have fun and laugh at his jokes and idk what happened to me at that time but all what I know is about to cry and thinking “ why me ? Why I don’t have this relationship with my dad ? “ i am known as a person with self control and mannered but sometimes i just wanna scream and cry specially when they talk about me how i am good at everything and talented when they literally have the most great things ever ( a father ) . I feel kinda relieved that i talk about openly like this . I already solve my mental problems like “ daddy issues “ . I don’t think so that anyone can replace parents anyone can do it but still kids need their real parents love and affection .

Watching this actually makes me wanna sob, I live with an incredibly dysfunctional family who all see me as a burden and a nuisance due to the fact I struggle with high-functioning autism, hypersensitivity issues, anxiety disorder, bi-polar disorder and clinical depression among also being type one diabetic at the age of 19, but I have the mental state of a child and I get bullied a LOT for it, especially by my stepdad, it doesn’t help that my mom agrees with him when I need her and my dad doesn’t want to hear about my family anymore so I basically don’t really exactly have a parental figure, however my teacher is like a grandma to me and says she cares really deeply about me because literally almost anytime I go to school I end up falling apart due to stress and hurt because I look stupid anytime I do at home when my so-called “parents” are there, but thank you so much for making this video, dad 🥺
