You should look into the predator (yautja) next they have an equally interesting biology plus they fought the xenomorphs as well and if a face hugger got on to a predator you get the predalien.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback and support! So glad you like my notebooks and drawings. I haven't really showed them before, this was a new idea I got, inspired from a comment I got for another video recently. I decided to create a book where I could collect all the facts I felt I could need when recording (and this time, there was really a lot of facts to try to keep in mind! 😲 ) It became easier for me to find them while recording, and the recording process worked much smoother like this, so I think I'll keep using this method in more videos 😃

This video is actually a bit inspired by a comment where a viewer requested something like that. So I decided to include notes and drawings from my notebook. But I'm not sure I can make videos about creating those notebooks as well, because then I'll need to prepare for those videos too (I think I will always need to start somewhere without recording, otherwise I would be too nervous, hahah)

Thank you so much for the nice compliment! So glad you like my drawings. I got the idea from a comment, to include some "research" material in the video. So I decided to create this notebook while I was studying the subject (for this video), and then, instead of trying to (as I've done so far) have all my notes pinned around me on walls, tripods, tables etc, have them all more neatly presented in book form, and show it to you instead. Much easier for me to find the information when I need it while recording it also. So I think I'll keep using this method in future videos!

This comment might come across like ripping your video apart, but I have no mean intention. I just want to provide another perspective. I prefer the original ALIEN as well as the new Romulus to all other Alien-movies or Alien-adjacent movies. I like ALIENS as an action movie, but not as an Alien-movie. I know that there are many people who like to believe that the so-called Xenomorphs are a naturally evolved species. This is highly implausible given many features of that species, like it being very likely an apex-predator which also has highly effective defensive features, or its method of reproduction being very tailored to anthropomorphic, roughly human-sized species. It is much more plausible that it is an engineered organism, engineered for a purpose, and that purpose being a weapon is also less likely than another purpose, which will come in later. As for the Xenomorph's metabolism everything is highly speculative, but it does not seem to require "food" as an energy source. Their acid blood could hint at some sort of biological battery which stores electric energy, which in turn could be an engineered feature which draws the creatures to places with advanced technology and an abundance of electric energy. Note that the Xenomorphs have no anus. Trust me, I looked! :D As for the tubes on the back: It could be a breathing aparatus, but not one which is required to sustain the creature's metabolism, but one which turns the creature into a miniature atmosphere processor. Even as a kid back in the 80s, I never liked the idea of an Alien Queen and a Xenomorph caste system with these dumb videa-gamey variants of the creature. It is just plain silly and completely disconnected to the body-horror aspect of the creature's life cycle from the original movie. The queen is just a big dumb monster. Much more clever and by several magnitudes more horrific was the mechanism behind the creation of the eggs revealed in a cut (and later thankfully reinstated) scene from the original movie, which suggests that the creature can inject a virus into its victims which changes the victim's DNA and accelerates its metabolism, making the victim's biomass turning into an alien egg containing a facehugger over the course of several days. The tongue is used to lobotomize victims, keeping them alive (albeit badly damaged) and completely passive to better act as a host for a chestburster. Note how often the bite-attack goes into the forehead! So, what could all this mean? Electricity as the basis for the metabolism, a living, crawling atmosphere processor which seems to be tailored to extinguish technologically advanced species? I guess the creatures have been engineered to annihilate advanced civilizations on a planet - strangely very tailored to human-shaped and -sized species - and change the atmosphere at the same time. Each to his or her own - this is the perspective on the Xenomorphs I like most.
