ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

I miss this channel, this is one of the originals and KZbin did what they do best with creators, screw them over so they can pick their own celebrity KZbinrs. By far the most creative when there was barely anything ASMR.

I listened to this one night when I was visiting a friend in California. I was away from home and from my husband, and on a different time schedule. I couldn't sleep....I tried music, everything....Then I turned to you tube and found you! You aren't going to believe this, but it was so relaxing I TRIED to STAY AWAKE!! I don't know if this is just me or not, and I love everything of Dimitri's, but when simulating touching the centre of my forehead with a camera, the best way to do this would probably be about a quarter of a way down the image of the video/the camera lens and not around the outside of the lends.
