I’m in Central Wisconsin and speaking of rain, we had about 4 inches of rain fall in the last three days. The downstairs of our tri-level is where our girls’ bedrooms are and one of them flooded last night. It’s been quite a day but the water is contained now. I actually talked to a state health agency about Eastern Equine Encephalitis because I had been working in the garden with shorts on and was getting swarmed by mosquitoes prior to getting sick. Most people get over that and I did not know that there are no shots for that disease. You either recover or don't

My husband and I were pretty sick for two weeks. Tested negative for flu, covid and strep. It was either a really bad cold, sinus infection, or RSV, RSV is really bad this year. I had a terrible migraine for days, cough, dizziness. We got hit really bad.

Hi Tom, so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Back in late August I had the same awful symptoms as you: fever, then chills, body aches, headaches, unusual fatigue & my covid tests came back negative too. Four coworkers of mine also had similar symptoms but all of out tests were negative. Who knows??? What worked for me was taking advil & tylenol (per my pharmacy advice)at the same time until I felt better. Take care.

Interesting. I'm still not sure if the test kits I have should detect this new variant. If it was covid it was the second time I caught it and I had all my shots and a couple of boosters.
