It’s a new year! So, it’s time for a good old fashioned reiki energy pulling roleplay - but with a twist, of course.
This time you’re a - some sort of - traveller, wading through the hills, glades, and valleys of a very, very old Wales. You’re meeting a prophetic druid called ‘Old Red Eye’ but know that this is just the beginning of your long journey. For now, you need to ensure your energy is aligned so you can better confront the trials that are ahead of you, as you seek to become who you always were and simply be at peace with the fact that you are allowed to be happy and love yourself.
There are lots of traditional ASMR triggers in this video, but all presented in a slightly odd way. There’s energy pulling, energy plucking, as well as bizarre positive affirmations, all designed to help you relax with the help of a soft-spoken Welsh accent. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.
Disclaimer: This video is intended for relaxation. Any views, opinions, or advice expressed is purely for the purpose of entertainment, and to induce tingles through ASMR. These videos are not a substitute for traditional medicine, therapy, or any other professional medium, and should not be treated as such! Take all the advice with a pinch of salt, and certainly don’t take it to heart. That being said, please enjoy them, benefit from them, and hopefully get those warm, tingly feelings. Oh, and it’s not for kids.

You play this character well I can’t tell if he’s actually mystically possessed or if he’s just lost it from living alone in the woods eating psycho mushrooms daily It’s really awesome especially since the accent is amazingly authentic

I've been coming back to this one a whole lot ever since it got published. It's videos like these that enable me to defend ASMR. Lots of people still think it's all about eating sounds (specifically mukbangs) and sexual stuff, it really isn't and hasn't been a major part of the ASMR sphere since as far back as I can remember - back in the days when Heather Feather was starting out and ER was pushing out his first Doctor Clemmons stuff. Great times. I don't say that to disparage people who want their ASMR to be all about ear licking or punching a bowl of oatmeal -- power to ya, but I will say that Jim's stuff is just an art form in and of itself. It's the atmosphere, the characters, him being fully immersed into being the character (and by extension so is the viewer), the sheer work put in. It's beautiful. It feels great to see ASMR in its current form and what can be done nowadays. Wonderful personal attention and honestly, even works as great background noise for when I'm playing FTL. I also very much enjoyed your video where you fixed my face. Another solid stay in my playlist.

This honestly is the most emotional asmr video I’ve ever watched. I don’t even know where to begin but- I’ve been in a really dark place recently, and I was beginning to sink lower. Affirmation asmr usually doesn’t work for me, because it’s so so hard to believe. But somehow, when ‘ Red eye ‘ does it, I can feel it. I was watching this for the first time, and when he said “ my Love is unconditional, and I’ll eat that sin for tea “ I burst out in tears. This’ll be my third time watching it, and definitely not my last. Might sound weird, but I wanna get those words tattooed, idk they literally saved me. I cry everytime the video ends, and I can’t wait to watch it again and again. Thank you so so so much for this!! 😭✨💕✨💕✨💕

Hope you’re doing better these days, Krytid! ❤ Hearing someone tell you they love you unconditionally is pretty incredible, I agree, and deeply healing; I find this to be true in so many of Jim’s videos, and with a couple other asmrtists on youtube, who cause me to cry out loud like a little baby, but they’re usually tears that have been repressed, and held in for a long time, too long building up within, until certain words spoken can unleash a torrent of repressed emotions, and cathartic tears flow. We’re very fortunate to have these artists creating such powerful works, and sharing them with us here. This is my favourite Druid of them all, I think! Take care, everyone out there! ❤❤❤😊

If I am honest, 2022 started of great with performing a play with kids for kids, and starting a career in Outside school hours care, but from April onwards it did go well for me. My father died, having my colleagues quit, dealing in a higher role I did not want and family issues on my dad side. 2023 has so far been promising with changing companies and back to performing with the drama school I am an alumni for has been great. I hope 2023 is a much better for you and anyone else reading this. Thank you for the escape Jim.

The throbbing music and undulating, wailing chanting is so organically and primitively linked to nature and so viscerally drawing on the emotions. WOW! Almost painful in it's soulful beauty. Like first nation's indigenous music immitating the emanations from the magic circles of the Earth in many regions around the planet. I remember when I was a child in the outback, during the hottest most silent part of the day, I could feel inside my body and hear inside my head the same undulating throbbing and humming in the air around me, coming from out of the silence on the land. Then when I.later heard the rhythm, of the didgeridoo and clap sticks and the vibrational chanting of voices of the Aboriginal people, it immediately reminded me of the throbbing rhythmic humming inside my head and body while surrounded by silence. I deeply feel the loss of separation from natural magic by industrialisation. It is said that it caused the faerie natural elementals to withdraw from interacting in those modern, artificial noisy parts of the world. Thanks for bringing the magic of early Welsh natural spiritual culture Jim and making it real and memorable. Thank you for creating a space where we can step back in time and experience this dreamy world when we feel the need for healing and nourishment. 💚🌿🧚💥💫

@@lorifromtemeculaca426 Yes LORI staying amidst the landscape and interacting with the people is the best way to soak up the ' being ' of a place anywhere, rather than just sweeping through as a tourist. Especially in the dry flat regions of Australia as it can all just blur into sameness outside the window for miles unless you stay awhile and adjust to the landscape and see it come alive with various bright colours emerging from within the more subtle colours and also the shy wildlife.that lives in an apparently empty region. You can get a real insight into why the people are like the people they are, as well. Not so weird afterall.

Hey! Great video, all of the props and makeup and script are great! But to my question, are we going to be able to meet his colleagues at some point. This is such a great character and it would be cool to expand on this universe!

This was so wonderful, Jim. Gotta admit, “why do you feel that way about yourself, Teithiwr?” had me sobbing. As someone who’s trans and struggles with a lot of self-hatred, I felt oddly called out in a very good way. This video was actually very therapeutic in some way, and I’d love to cross paths with Old Red Eye (though he’s actually rather young) again.

I can imitate most accents just by listening to them for a bit but the Welsh accent kills me! I have to impersonate Drippy from ni no Kuni just to get a grasp on it🤣🤣🤣 Edit: I absolutely love this!!🤣❤️
