Okay. So, here is a return of much-loved immortal ghoul, Gary-Oldman-Dracula. My first Dracula ASMR video was released well over three years ago now, and so I hope that I’ve honed my skills somewhat since then… Let me know in the comments, lol. I think it was one of the first green screen vids I ever did, and - vait a sec - I just saw it was only ten minutes long? What the heck. But this one’s more of an inversion of the Stoker source material (and has a story), which I adore, as it was a big part of a smaller part of my degree, and I remember it very fondly.
Anyvay, this ASMR vampire roleplay is a love letter to Coppola’s 1992 camp classic, ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’, a cornucopia of amazing aesthetics, heavenly fashion, and pretty bad accents. As homage to this, I’ve adopted the traditional Italian/German/Russian/Romanian accent that Vlad seems to have in most movies, and wherever possible drawn inspiration from the scenes in the film where he’s hanging out with Mina - y’know, havin’ a good old time. Enjoy!

🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧

FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

It's the perfect mix of sensual and terrifying. I love Oldman as Dracula. He was my first exposure to Dracula and the canon of Vlad/Dracula. I was 5 or 6. Mom exposed me to horror movies at an early age. Vlad Dracul has always been a favorite of mine and you bring him to (if you pardon the wording) life right before my eyes. I have always seen him as tragic. The phrase "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" fits his tale so well. Your portrayal of him is beyond stellar, the sheer sense of sadness and loneliness bleeds from every word and gesture, the tiredness of eternity in the eyes, all these things create the tragic soul. Your choice of Beethoven continues with the emotional tugging of the heartstrings. I know you hadn't planned on doing another Dracul video, but I am oh so happy you made this. Your progression just in the last year has been amazing (yes, I'm quickly coming up on my 1 year of subscribing to your channel). In all honesty, I've tried watching other ASMartists and just can't get into them, there is something lacking.
