Just to answer a few FAQs ... yes there will be more videos with my face, yes there will be more cranial nerve exams, yes there will be more inaudible videos, yes there will be more 'simulation' videos. I have had so many hold ups and stuff happening since the end of last year, things take time.

Hope everything works out well! So far Ive enjoyed your videos and welcome the different things you try. As important as relaxing is for many of us, it is important as well to take time to sort out "our own house", so that we may continue to do the things we love. Best wishes and thank you always for your content!

I look through so many asmr exam type videos, and somehow almost all of yours fit my specific tingle needs.... thank you for your hard work. Thank you for understanding what this little subset of humanity needs, and providing support through your craft. Some people may think ASMR is garbage, but when it’s done right? There is nothing more relaxing and stimulating at the same time. I can’t sleep without it.

A cool idea for an eye exam roleplay; if it was blurry in the beginning and then fix it with the lenses, but I don't know how hard that would be to do or would that even be appealing to watch lol

These light based visual asmr videos are always guaranteed to make me tired and ready for sleep. Is it the eye strain or a mild form of hypnosis/forced zoning out? Maybe something else altogether? I dont know if there even is a blanket explanation or whether it would vary person to person, but I am curious

As I have commented the same 5 words on every video release I have noticed a few trends; I have noticed a great deal of support, a minority who are vocally against it, and not a single heart from you, my dear friend who works so hard on your videos. And it's begun to make me worry that perhaps the full intentions of my little joke are obscured. While I do fear the repercussions of breaking the pattern, of losing my brand, the thought that I may in some way be negatively contributing to your life has grown too heavy to continue without saying something. As such I would like to take a brief respite from your regularly scheduled comment to explain some of my findings, and elucidate my intention now and moving forward.
@WIT_Boudicca4 жыл бұрын
Of course the first few comments were meant as a joke, My initial intention was to humour the crowd, that the same comment would get funnier the more times it was added to your videos. I wouldn't personally like to say it was meant at your expense, but i nonetheless can see how it may be interpreted as such. I don't want to gaslight anyone that feels that way by denying it, I merely wish to explain my intention. As my comment gained traction and likes, i noticed several vocal groups began to emerge, and my little joke evolved into somewhat of an experiment, observing the counter culture that developed, those that were bothered enough by those 5 words to speak out against it, those that were so bothered by that response as to raise their voice in support of my 5 simple words, all of it was fascinating to say the least. It has been delightful to watch the rest of your comments grow around me like a vast ecosystem of individuals using yours and my medium to express themselves. And to my fellow commenters, I have delighted in every response to my comment, all the likes, and both for and against.
@WIT_Boudicca4 жыл бұрын
But along the way these simple 5 words have developed another purpose. In my eyes, a more important one. I see regularly people thank you on your videos in sentences and paragraphs, but as the view count will suggest when compared to the number of comments of this nature, many of your viewers do not have the energy to exhert the effort for that, and that is understandable I feel, for us as viewers to have only so much attention to dedicate to your fantastic work. As such I view my 5 words as boiling down those more verbose 'thank you's to their basest form. My comment has become about thanking you as simply as I can for the amazing work you do, and providing a platform for the less engaged to show support for you similarly.
@WIT_Boudicca4 жыл бұрын
I believe the problem lies in that however, as these specific words can be up for interpretation. "Strange" for instance, can have negative conotations attatched to it, but even in the beginning I want you to know it was never meant to. Strangeness is beautiful, and the greatest achievements of humanity are found in the pockets of the experimental and new. I only mean to celebrate the unique position that your art holds within the ASMR community, the extra work you put into the details, the effort you put forth to try new and unique concepts, to push the envelope. That should be celebrated, I feel.
@WIT_Boudicca4 жыл бұрын
I believe calling you "Pirate Man" also is an extension of this, you have a unique style and appearance, and those things are worth cherishing, I feel. I hope that negative interpretations of my comment have not in any way influenced your decision to dress as you like and show your face on camera. Because, once again, your unique style is something i greatly cherish.
@WIT_Boudicca4 жыл бұрын
To create art and publish it is to open up and be vulnerable to the world around you, and the last thing I want is for my intention to become careless of your feelings, to take advantage of the kindness you supply to us every week. I want you to be able to look at every like, every copy comment, and every reply to my comment, regardless of content and see another individual who has fallen in love with your work yet again. I want, more than anything, for the true feelings of those that watch your videos to reach you, in the quickest and easiest way possible, to ensure you are given the maximum amount of feedback , the easiest way for us to show our support and appreciation for the effort you put forth. And while I can't write an essay every week to describe my true feelings of appreciation, nor expect you to read it all, I hope that my true feelings will reach you through this simple, 5 word sentence;

@@WIT_Boudicca - The fact that you responded to my worried comment speaks volumes. As an English professor, I'm thoroughly unimpressed by your attempts to sound like Hannibal Lecter. I assure you: I can be more of a pedantic sesquipedalian than you could ever hope to be...dude.
@WIT_Boudicca4 жыл бұрын
@@weshartman9925 Apologies if i've come off as too verbose, i don't mean to sound pretentious, i just feel it best to work hard to get across what i mean, you know? not in a competitive sense certainly, just lookin for the right word for the job... I hadn't interpretted this as worried, i had thought it was a joke, poking fun at me wearing my heart on my sleeve in this sort of environment, I'll delete my previous response then as i feel it's inappropriate. Sorry if i've worried you, I assure you it's all intended as harmless fun. Publicizing your work can be hard emotionally, and I wanted to be sure I wasn't accidentally being a bully with my regularly scheduled fun. As our previous exchange exemplified, the intention behind words can be easily misconstrued, so i think it's best to check in and make sure we're all on the same page from time to time. Sorry to worry you!
