My roomate is a vampire is a recent buy for me as well! Im just finishing the very secret society of irregular witches, then itll be my next read 😊 Edit - waitttt!!! You finally got legends and lattes! Both are great, but the first one is just ultimate cosiness! So glad you got it! Essentially, its about a mercenary who wants to retire and open up a coffee shop. She starts out quite a "tough" character, but the characters she meets along the way really soften Viv. The book guides you through her opening the coffee shop, and all the cosy customers she meets! Its very low stakes and fits perfect for when you need some down time

A flicker in the dark. I found that to be scary. Also Jenny Blackhurst is a thriller author who I am reading recently. The thursday murder club is on my TBR list as well as The last goodbye (Tim Weaver) and the Only survivors (Megan Miranda). I found the ending to The House Across the Lake to be a bit weird and outlandish. Also Freida McFadden came out with another in the Housemaid series ! Called The Housemaid is Watching
