This ASMR video is specifically made for people who are desf, hard of hearing or in any other way hearing impaired. There are tons of visual triggers in this video, as well as subtitles. For those of you who can hear, I added some sounds as well, by wearing jewelry and a crunchy jacket 🎵 Also, there are some sparkly visual effects for you to enjoy! If you're looking for other asmrtists, I don't know if it'll be what you're looking for exactly but i have recently enjoyed the visual triggers from some of the videos by patrick asmr, he seems to have a pretty good sense of how his hands and gestures interact with the camera framing. No sfx tho

Shawn is a great editor, and I hope he knows how much we all appreciate his work! And you really set a great example with how often you shout him out, because it's so easy for the work of editors and other 'invisible' collaborators or support to remain more or less invisible and their contributions forgotten. And Fast, as a disabled person - although not deaf or HoH - it really makes me happy when people find ways to include us who function differently. Too often we too tend to remain invisible and forgotten. I hope that this video is as great for the intended target group as it was for me!

A lot of people underestimate the editors in a lot of ASMR videos, whether it be the artist themselves or someone on their team. They really are a big part of how the videos come out. You can film hours and hours of content, but how it's put together is whole nother process. So there are people who appreciate all that comes together for these videos. I know I'm one, thank you!

I am not deaf, but I do get overstimulated and often can only deal with sounds or visuals at a single time. I tried turning the sound off at it was genuinely very relaxing. The one thing I would’ve really liked is sort of setting and breaking the pattern mentality to the visuals. I think that would really give this series an extra oomph.

@@tankgunner5483 it’s just basically where you struggle to understand speech, you can physically hear it but for whatever reason your brain can’t quite understand what’s being said. it can be linked to ear infections or injuries. for me I can usually get one or two words out of a sentence, so if someone says “do you want to go get dinner later?” i might think they said “do you have a generator?”. lip reading and subtitles are incredibly helpful for this issue!

I have APD so most of the ASMR videos that have speaking frustrate me as I don’t understand most of what they are saying, but I find hair brushing videos are a good mostly visual trigger for relaxing, especially if they are using different types of brushes or also undoing a plait/updo.
