this is super random but you helped me finally get a diagnosis of OCD this morning. after seeing your first OCD video last year and hearing you speak about rumination, it finally clicked. my first symptoms started 20 years ago, and I always thought I was just crazy since I didn’t fit the typical OCD stereotype. so thank you ❤

i don't even know how to respond to this 🥺 i'm so happy to have helped in any way and am so sorry you've had to struggle without answers for so long. you are not crazy and trust me i know how it feels! wishing you the best of luck with everything!

Changing externally should come after changing internally. People spend their live running away from a problem. When you face it first and see it with honesty, the rest will follow.

About deep breaths, because of my deviated septum, I have to breathe in through the mouth and not the nose. I breathe in faster, hold just one or two seconds and then I can breathe out for longer. If I do it too many times though, I feel out of breath and it activates panic symptoms. So I adapt it so I can breathe deeply and fully.
