I haven't even started the video yet and I just want to express my gratitude. I am a freshman in college and started watching this channel some about a year ago, but have been watching it regularly since coming to college. I struggled a bit with sleep in highschool. I didn't have insomnia or anything, but my brain doesn't seem to want to shut off, and when I get anxious, which happens a lot, I tend to avoid sleep. Idk why, but that happens, which is why I started watching regularly. This channel has definitely helped so much. I don't typically comment, but I have definitely had a rough few days and it is currently 4 in the morning during finals week. I'm commenting now because I know I will fall asleep during the video. You three are incredibly talented and never disappoint! Thank you so much!

The reason it doesn’t feel as good when you scratch your own back as opposed to someone else doing it is bc the sensory input. Our body gets used to things, like for our clothing we aren’t constantly aware of it touching us because the sensory nerves are used to it. Also as you’re scratching your back your body knows it’s you touching your back, so it doesn’t give you all the nerves or sensations because you’re in no danger or need to identify the stimulus immediately, bc it’s just you. Long explanation but ALAS

Yeah I was gonna comment the same thing. intros and outros are often the most tingly parts of the videos for me. He once made a video outro that was so tingly that I go to it to this day just for the outro. I think I just like the hand movement trigger

It's called Christmas in Space, Vol. 2 and his artist name is UFO Race! I will be listening to his song "November 1st" while I make today's list! 🎷🐋🥳🎄 I'll also be posting my normal list-comment with my favorite part of each song on the next video Parker's in but I didn't wanna steal Max's thunder 🌩 Speaking of Max's thunder 🥁🥁🥁🥁 list time! In honor of our short attention spans, I'm going to TRY to keep the list short. Finding Nemo, Monsters Inc, Onward! 1. Spray Bottle + Towel - I'm thinking of maybe doing a like year-end "Top Three Sheep triggers of 2024" list (or maybe even a video of them). I'd divide it by Sheep bc everyone deserves to be celebrated, but this one would almost certainly be at the top of Max's list. I still remember just how like genuinely astounded I was when I first heard it, my jaw literally fell open. It's so cool and so tingly and so unique. 2. Hot Dog Bun 🌭Believe me or not: as soon as you said "the sound" at 10:08 I said, "!!!!! it's Ratatouille" and then you mentioned Ratatouille and I was reminded why this is my favorite channel 😂 every time we have bread at dinner, my sister and I will always do our best impression of that scene to each other. If you're ever big time bored you could do a roleplay as a chef. We already know you can do the accent 👩‍🎨🎨🧑‍🍳🍞 Also, at 9:22 "This is one of my new favorite triggers now". Max, I don't know that that hot dog bun can be described as new 👀 Ok speed round: 3. Classic Gloves - A classic for a reason. A favorite for any season 🌻🏖🍁🎄 4. Cherries 🍒 I think I prefer these to the original, but it's a liquid sound so both good 👍👍 5. Winter Gloves - 7:16 is SO nice. I love how warm and soft these sound. Super cozy ❄☃ 6. Dolphin Guy 🐬 He earns points just for being cute for sure, but also some very nice plastic-y sounds. We're making words up here today! 7. Salad Dressing - An excellent trigger. I really like it moving around the space. I'm trying to curve my rankings so the liquid sounds aren't all at the top. I'm sure that really matters to everyone. 8. Coffee ☕ Ironically, caffeine makes a great trigger. Some amazing crinkly sounds from this guy. Also sounds great from behind the back. We appreciate Max, the trigger scientist 🧑‍🔬 9. Maracas - Great contrast for this video, since it's more high frequency. Also still holding out for a musical triggers video 🎹🎸🥁 10. Towel on Mic - Really calming, I almost fell asleep at this part. Trying to give newer triggers a chance against the big guns 😴 11. Spoons - Spoon good. What else is there to say? 12. Can Opener - File under that old meme of trying to explain KZbin videos to a Victorian child. Very funny out of context 🤣 13. Foam on Mic 🧼 (it's soap) - I LOVED the sound of the soap coming out too! The rest was good too, I just loved the first sound the most! 14. Toilet Paper - Forgive the lack of emoji. I really liked the way this sound changed the further it ripped! If I've had you this long, in addition to Parker's new album Christmas in Space, Vol 2., you should also listen to Max's new album Strange Position (released under the name Skybound) - apparently their whole family is just extremely talented 🤷‍♂ Also I'm super excited for Christmas and the holidays! Every year my siblings and I make a themed gingerbread structure and a gingerbread Godzilla to destroy it - last year it was D&D themed and we built a castle bc the movie came out. So if anyone in the comments has suggestions for a theme, we don't have any good ideas yet 😛 If anyone has fun Holiday/Christmas traditions I'd love to hear about them, I think they're so sweet 🥰 I meant to write a list of things I'm grateful for for Thanksgiving but I was visiting a friend in Chicago and had limited wifi. Side note it is SO cold up there, I was leaving the house in no joke 7 layers of clothing ❄❄❄ I can't even imagine what it's like in Ohio I hope y'all stay warm. I will still probably do it before Christmas. Being grateful still feels seasonally appropriate. This one is just already super long and I'll be busy later watching Batman Returns (bc it's vaguely Christmasy and my friend hasn't seen it 🦇) so it'll have to be for a future video. Okie dokie! I never understood how people figure out how to do asmr spesifically for ppl with shorter attention spans. Is it just that the triggers have to be more unpredictable and change faster?

Across these types of videos, the commonality is that the triggers are shorter, or at least shorter than usual. I feel like this video has longer triggers than normal for videos like this, but I prefer that over the really chaotic and rapid 3 second triggers that make me feel more worked up than relaxed. I think in some cases (but certainly not in this case) it’s just a way to get people to click on a video. I don’t think it’s necessarily the type of trigger but I might be wrong.
