yes its reconmmended to dye red on black hair. it works better.

To everyone wanting to do this, *do not* dye your already color treated hair with 30 volume developer everytime. That will soon cause damage and even breakage. Instead use a 10 volume or what I highly reccomend, a colored conditioner. I get the Riviting Reds shampoo and conditioner and it works great!

i used to use that color. A thing you should know is that you should only use that on your roots and use a semi permenant on your ends to refresh. Hi color hilights is constantly lifting your hair which can damage it

Vero Orozco the heat from your scalp develops the hair color faster. To try to keep the roots and ends the same color people normally do their roots 15 minutes before the rest of the hair is done processing.

I learned the hard way not to do that. The first time I used this dye I started at the roots & they were super bright compared to the rest of my hair. It looked really bad.
