1. I have been living in Japan for several years now. I'm a first SPA reviewer in Japan, entrepreneur, digital content creator and professional exercise avoider haha
2. For privacy, I prefer to keep my ethnicity, real name, address in private. You can call me Twix!
3. Why "Twix"? Me and my sister work on the channel together. As you know Twix chocolate bar has 2 pieces. My sister AKA Camsis is behind the camera. So we thought it would be fair If I add my sister's name. So that is how ASMR Twix is born.
4. Camsis prefers to work behind the camera. I hope you will respect her decision. Please don't worry about Camsis! She gets her own sessions off camera whenever she likes.
5. I don't get treatments as often as I post them frequently. I balance treatments schedule considering my skin and health condition.
6. I don't upload "Whispering" and "No talking" videos. Only Soft spoken!
7. All the places I show on this channel are not sponsored, they're collab videos. I have collaborated with more than 150 beauty and health establishments in Japan. When I get sponsorship, I mention it as sponsored according to KZbin sponsorship terms and conditions.

She went to COCONA, but the hairstylist dried her curls by shaking them at first, breaking their natural form, so I was a little disappointed although it was the closest to a curl salon so I was happy. In Korea and in Japan there are girls who know the curly method, but I don't think that there are any salón for that 🤔

So funny cuz this is my favourite style of all because I find a lot of the other stylists use so much wax/spray that the hair looks like it has a lot of gel! But to each their own! So cool to see how we all like different looks

@@rileym4056 oooh, I've also noticed the amount of setting spray and wax they often use. But I think it's just out of habit. The majority of Japanese women have super straight hair that makes the curls slide down and come undone quickly. They probably use the same amount on Twix without even realizing that her hair texture doesn't require as much for the hairstyle to hold.

Remember, this is in Japan, and while there are a lot of Western influences, the culture there is very different from ours. While Americans are used to cloudy skies during rain, the Japanese traditionally have enjoyed heavy rain and blue skies at the same time. The word they use is "okonomiyaki," which translates roughly to "sky watering can." It's such an interesting place! (This seemed like a better reply than 'idk')

I wonder if they used a separate mic by the doorway. Remember the first video of the head spa at this salon, the entrance door opens right into the little seating and styling area, so if they kept the door open I bet the sound would be very clear.

Such a feminine woman, just a soft and comforting feel, which really helps the ASMR. Has that presence, where guys will naturally stop using foul languages around her, guys will hold the door for her, and she won’t get “cat called”.

@@zazzycatlady Why? Which do you think is more effective at ASMR, her or a masculine female MMA fighter? She speaks naturally soft and in a “smooth” manner. She isn’t abrupt or abrasive. And generally comes across very comforting. Nothing I said was sexual or disrespectful, it was all compliments. Some women try to dress in a specific manner and act in a specific way to get the male audience. Some try to speak in girly voices. Some just tap things randomly. It feels forced and fake and so you can’t zone out, whereas good ASMR requires falling into a “trance”. And As somebody who’s been to war in multiple countries, finding methods that allow me to get into that “trance” and zone out (that don’t involve pills or drinking) is difficult. But with her overall package & presentation, she makes it easier.
