I'm kinda clumsy. 😅 But to be a bit serious, the part of humans constantly expanding their territory, pushing out all the goblins kinda reminds me of something in Stormlight Archives. When Dalinar talks about how his ancestor Sadees the Sunmaker, in his ceaseless desire to conquer more land for Alethkar, died young never having chosen an heir, shattering his kingdom. Dalinar asks rhetorically: "When has a man looked upon what he has and said "this is enough"?" Trying to make a point that people should look past their own petty wants and desires. This ties back to a quote from the in-universe 'The Way of Kings' that he lives by: "Power does not make you capable of rule, it makes you capable of service." A quote which I am particularly fond of myself.
