There are two things about this that don't make any sense to me. One is why the person just does'nt go get a rubber mallet or something and tap on the ice to remove it en masse-it would be a lot faster and easier. Scratching or tapping on the ice with your fingers is NOT going to remove it, and you'll be there for the next 4 years trying to do it that way. Even I, as inexperienced as I am when it comes to dealing with and driving in snow and ice conditions, even know that. The second thing that I don't get is how come nobody else said that in the comments.
