🎙 What is ASMR? 🎧
ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) is synaesthesia of the soul. It’s a relaxing feeling, it’s a tingling down the spine, or it’s simply a sleep aid. Whether it’s being ‘held’ by someone you have confidence in, or ‘looked after’ by someone with authority, or just feeling ‘safe’ with someone you trust, it uses audio-visual triggers to enable you to let go of your worries and stresses - even just for a bit.
📽 What is FPC? 🎞
FPC (first person cinema) takes all the relaxing elements of ASMR but has much more of a focus on immersion and the suspension of disbelief. It’s kinda like being the main character in your own short movie, with popular figures you know and love, or entirely created worlds - just for you. There won’t be any visible mics or traditional triggers in these videos, and they will seem more unintentional than the usual ASMR videos - but they are unique and relaxing experiences designed to transport you to different places, worlds, and times.

It's both hilarious and sad that the only job interview I've got since quitting my previous job is this one 😅 It's even more so as I wanttt that job! Kinda wish any job interview was this mind-calming, even if slightly confusing 😁 P.S.: in 55 years, I imagine myself on a terrace of my coastal cottage, bundled up comfortably in a nest chair, looking out into my green grape yard where my dogs freely roam, writing one of my yet another to-be bestsellers while sipping on my fine wine, and very not dead, thank you very much, but rather 10+ years from cusping on beating my grandma's advanced age record, as today as I say this, she's 93 and still kicking. Hell yea.

This is so relaxing and relieving to see such unpleasant facts about such incompetence being acknowledged and so thoroughly, incisively and entertainingly exposed to all. This vacancy requires a stuffed suit who has enough ruthless ambition to ignore the suffering of victims, balanced with the ability to playact traits of integrity and sensitivity to the voters, I mean the victims. Who needs the skill of responsible governance when that is not the desired, skill demanded here? Prove your lack of conscience and your solidarity to your colleagues through displaying the ability to slack off with them with tongue in cheek jokes, playing up transparently, your pretence at responsible government management. It's a must have 'quality', generating laughs around the back offices and bars, I mean water coolers. It is admitting to each other that your jobs are a farce and a doddle in diddling the public purse, and that you are all solid with that. All privileged old school boys networking the system together. Or maybe I'm just overlaying my own angst on my interpretation of this latest relaxing release. 🤔 Hmm....So releasing though.

If only real job interviewers were this honest, funny, and incompetent. Great absurd questions. More recruiters should use this technique. Just went to my 15th job interview in 6 months. Perhaps I should start wearing hats to interviews - pretty floral bonnet, wizard hat, fez (fezzes are cool) - to make things more interesting.
