IMPORTANT: In this particular case I recommend you to watch this video without headphones. It can be way more pleasant to listen to the sound through speakers. Few days ago after making sure that I'll be alone without my roommate making background noises, I started preparations for this video. She was supposed to be visiting her family for weekend, so I thought it is a good time to make some new videos for my channel. Knives had already been waiting for me in my studio. I grabbed the first one and started sharpening it carefully. tsssss tssssss tsssss tssssss When I do something I apply myself as much as possible, so after a few minutes I was really into it. tssss tsssss tssss tsssss As soon as I lost myself completely in the task suddenly the door opened and my roommate came in. Her welcoming smile disappeared instantly when he saw me wearing a white apron and taking a firm grip on a huge kitchen knife while leaning over a sharpening stone with my tongue stuck out - that's how engaged I was in the task. ''Hi...what are yoo....'' I managed to say She cringed and asked glancing over the collection of knifes laying on the table: ''What the heck are you doing?'' ''I'm...sharpening the knifes. It is for relaxation. The sound is great.'' ''I'm scared of you. Men, you look like a crazy butcher. I can see madness in your eyes.'' ''It's only ASMR, and this video actually isn't that weird. Bubba and Elmo eating shaving foam. This one I would consider being a little bit.....unusual.'' ''Who are Bubba and Elmo?'' she asked lifting one of her eyebrows ''You do not want to know'' I answered wiping the biggest knife to the apron ''It's enough I'm moving out from this apartment, right now!'' she said turning on her heel ''Go ahead, but do not forget to take your smartphone, because you may need it to fall asleep to one of these Boyfriend Role Plays or Ear Licking videos.'' ''Did you....?'' she started screaming ''No I didn't....but you should know that this wall is very thin and your headphones apparently have been broken since always.'' I smiled at her blowing on the tip of the knife as if it was a smoking gun She opened her mouth but wasn't able to say anything. Her face turned red and she meekly backed away. I always enjoy reading the description because you would usually put in a little anecdote along with the asmr. And I believe what made the little story even more funny is that you sound so proper and extremely calm while telling it, almost as if you’re writing a book. and although i’m not physically hearing the story from you i can tell what tone you’re using, which is pretty cool. I had a great laugh, thanks.

the fact that after that much sharpening and he can comfortably put his finger on the blade i think not. I can sharpen a blade to a point that it feels like a needle and would draw blood (but there isn't much reason to sharpen a knife to that degree.)

glowstone lol, I get what your trying to say but a knives blade and 1000 nails are very different. Trust me if you got a single knife as sharpe as let’s say a samurai sword for example and placed your finger on the blade with any force it’d go straight through your skin and bone depending on how hard you pressed.

Wow, the sound quality in this video is absolutely phenomenal! The crisp, detailed recording captures every subtle nuance so perfectly-it’s like I can feel the textures through the audio alone. And the visuals? Absolutely stunning. The lighting and framing make the entire experience so immersive, almost meditative. I’ve always been fascinated by the art of capturing sounds with such precision-especially for things like sharpening or other detailed processes where the sound can truly make or break the experience. This is definitely inspiring for anyone thinking of diving into the world of high-quality ASMR-style content! Amazing work-this sets the bar high!

I'm really pleased with this! It works like a charm kzbin.infoUgkxDcr-y2Pf6xdnrFHrSP7dl9kpKaCozcSQ Takes less time than my old electric sharpener because it can take more off the knife faster, and then it smooths out nicely with the finer grit polisher. I don't know how long it will last before the grit wears away, but I wouldn't mind having to replace it every once in a while.

Having a sharp knife makes everything in the kitchen so much more enjoyable I remember abit back i had these dull ass knives, anything i'd try to finely slice would just become mush as the knife wasn't good enough I decided to buy a pack of real kitchen knives and sharpen them up, just grazing it on something makes it slice through

We just ordered whetstones a few days ago and they arrived yesterday, the knives we have have never been properly sharpened and all we had was a cheap &10 sharpener that would more often dull or damage the knives. I’d never used a whetstone before but after I got done my dad and I were laughing because it was so much better than it had been in a very long time. A very good investment, and a good skill to have.

Then thought of the likelihood that some might contain the use of those metal "sharpeners" included in knife blocks (these are NOT actually sharpeners for those who don't know, they're for realigning the edge as it warps from use, between sharpenings) and immediately cringed and forgot about it. Then this shows up in my recommendations. You read my mind ASMRsurge, and did it proper with a whetstone. You win the day!
