I'm a math major and I always had the idea of doing an ASMR video/tutorial on a math topic. I have to admit that I am pleasantly surprised that someone actually does make such videos. I love doing homework listening to ASMR, well I can listen to someone teach math while I do it now. Thanks for the video and before I forget, nice beard!!

That said, I actually have a huge horizontal poster that's about 30 feet long that shows the timeline of important math theories, it's in storage right now but I will try and dig it up and maybe we'll go through that when I do. If you follow the steps I showed, you'll be able to factor these easily. Also remember, there are programs online that will factor these number for you, good for a check once you learn the process.

As for the videos that I embed, link to in this video, they are the older ones from The language of Math, so if you've downloaded the torrents you should have them. All math videos though that I'm loading up and will be loading up for the foreseeable future will be new. LCD is the same thing as LCM but for adding/subtracting fractions. Just use the same technique. Here is a video I put out back in 2007 on how to add/subtract fractions: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oInWqJl5aLSanZo ... let me know if you need any additional info, I have a whole series on fractions.

I thought if you times two negative numbers they become a plus rather than keeping them as a minus, by the way love the way you did the factor tree

Yup, two negatives multiplies together give you a positive. Did I end up making a mistake in the video :( As for the factor tree, love the final patterns that emerge, especially for a group of large numbers. I usually try and either make them as symmetrical as possible or one-sided.
