Im not sure who was the first to do this, but Benio Asmr did "my face is plastic" like a week ago. So I know it wasn't Gibi (even though I do really like her's) that came up with this idea. I'll have to check it out. Edit: So tons of asmrtists have done this and so far Eevy asmr is the oldest one I've found. Her's is over a year old. Double Edit: Well I could've saved myself a lot of time if I would've checked the description first. Anyway Gibi credits Seafoam Kitten's asmr for being the original. And apparently it was all the way back to 2017.

when my face was glass I kinda felt like the fish inside the little aquariums when children tap on the glass lol. But it's very creative Gibi, as always, well done!!

Colby Tucker I think gibi had her other hand tapping something near the mic. I tried this strat after this trend started (not an ASMRtist, just wanted to see if it’d work LOL) and it actually would be pretty easy; matching both of your hands tapping timing isn’t as hard as it might seem.

Sometimes I find a video and I'm like "Yup, this is going to be my go-to for the next six months." This is that video. I sincerely hope we get a part two, there are few things I enjoy more than whispered face-tapping videos with very sensitive mics.
