I’m so happy I stumbled across this channel! My mom read to me before bed until I was 11! We were reading A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court but never finished because my daily schedule became too hectic to continue our nightly reading routine. Now I’m 23 years old; however, I still believe that listening to someone read out loud is the best way to prepare for bed and to sleep soundly. Thank you so much! ♥️

I'm going to bed so as usual I come to your channel and since I've fallen asleep to every video you have I normally go back to the Polynesian video, the Greek mythology video, or just let the mystery stories playlist go one after the other all night. They work so well to calm my thoughts completely. I'm normally asleep within 15 minutes, literally drooling when I wake up to use the restroom Lol. This is why I am glad you do the time stamps because I can start where I fell asleep the night before. But I am super happy to have a new one tonight and Native American History has been interesting to me since I'm from Okeechobee Florida (home of many Seminole Indians). Also during a summer road trip with my brother and father we stopped in North Carolina and saw an outdoor play called The Trail of Tears that made me fall in love with history and the Native American culture. Until your channel I had the hardest time falling asleep. Thank you for what you do for all of us. Goodnight! 😴😴😴

That’s fucking insane how similar the Apache myth is to Zeus and Greek mythology
@kibnob2 жыл бұрын
It might not be entirely coincidence and convergent evolution. Both Greeks (via indo European admixture) and Native Americans are thought to be descended from Ancient North Eurasians (ANE). IIRC scholars generally accept that at least the myth of the dog that guards the path to the afterlife (e.g. Cerberus), present in both cultures, has a shared ANE origin.
