Man, first grade was when I experienced ASMR for the first time. We would have silent writing time then at the end we’d share some stories we wrote. I was always partnered with this same girl who would constantly flip through pages trying to find one of her stories to read. It was the way she did it so slow but smooth. The paper always crinkled in this certain manner, and every time she did it I would get the tingles.

The down down baby song was a jump rope song when I was in elementary school, (2010) when they still had jump rope outside at recess 😭. I also liked when we would play with chalk and someone would trace you on the side walk

I remember in elementary school and this one girl would always rub her fingers on my back and play with my hair. i remember getting asmr a lot as a kid, of course I didn't know what it was called then but things like letter tracing on you bad, someone playing with your hair, hand tracing, crack an egg on your head, and different rhymey playing with your back, arm tracing, that feeling when a doctor looks in your ears, someone softly reading, and soo much more. Its fun to see how similar feelings are from people all over.

I am still a kid but I spent most of my early childhood in school and middle stages at home, I never knew about these little rhymes because our public school was kinda small, 500-2K people and I guess most of the little kids didn’t do the rhymes but I love the vid

i can relate to almost all of these! similar to the hand tracing, i really liked the feeling of somebody (or yourself) painting your hand with a paintbrush. there was just something about the soft brush strokes on your hand with the paint going onto ur skin, it felt nice and it was relaxing. even some of those triggers in the video are STILL relaxing even though i’m not a kid anymore. the criss cross applesauce saying is very familiar, i feel like i’ve heard it before or something similar to it. but i kind of don’t remember. i’m not sure when the first time i’ve gotten asmr was, probably as a baby or something lol. also i remember this one particular time when i was in second grade, we were taking a test and it was quiet and i remember this one girl sitting near me was making this sort of like tongue clicking? sound or something. it wasn’t very loud but i remember getting tingles from that, and i looked over in that direction to figure out where the sound was coming from, and it was from that girl. then the teacher noticed i looked at her a few times and the teacher was like “look at your own paper” lol. also, i think it’s tingly when somebody is using a calculator on like a math test or something, hearing the little clicks of the keys. that makes me tingle so much lol
