recently read “Of Mice and Men”, which is a masterpiece. Also Paul Auster’s “Moon Palace”. Beautiful writing. And I checked out “Self-Portrait in Green” which was strange and absorbing and fascinating. Good stuff. 💯💯😄

Thank you! 💜 As for keeping track I have a list I keep in Evernote where I put the title and author, then either leave as-is, bold if I loved it so much I would read it again, or turn gray if I feel wholly unchanged by it (i.e. I would be the same if I had never read it)

Ok first all these colours! Such a mood. Secondly I changed my username since but I jumped when u said, lmao...I am also jumpy. I'm so glad you liked cursed bunny! There were a few i didn't think much of but I was pretty amazed by a lot of them... The one with the boy in the cave was so evocative and lol the head... Oh my days what an opener. Omg territory of light is amazing and beautiful, it's like a series of vignettes...I really, really liked it... The scenery and the candidness/often flatness of her thoughts, Def staying on the shelf. Tsushima is the daughter of osamu dazai which is pretty interesting! Ii am reading the ark sakura by kobo Abe atm and it's so funny. It's about this little man who found a giant abandoned mine and tuned it into a big place to live in the event of an apocalyptic event, and he's trying to form a community to live there...I was a big fan of the woman in the dunes so grabbed this. Anyway this comment is getting too long but i keep meaning to write on all your videos lately but I'm usually dozy lol but thank you so much ilysm xxx

I don't know if you've read any of these/heard if they are good or not but i picked up these also recently for summer: fish swimming in dappled sunlight by Riku Onda, when I sing mountains dance by Irene Solà (i fell for the cover on this one tbh), nostalgia by Mircea Cărtărescu and I who have never known men by Jacqueline Harpman. lol when I went into blackwells, the big book shop where I live, to get cold enough for snow the boy working there was like "more books"...like ok a yes i am buying too many books i deserve this shaming but b what else am i gonna be buying here. He did also say it was good tho! hyped
