Your paintings are absolutely gorgeous! They are so beautiful and the depth you manage to add to each one is amazing. If you dont mind me asking, what do you do with any left over paint when finished?
@kaitekiart76662 жыл бұрын
Iwaenogu (mineral paint or similar colored glass pigment) were not left because I put out the necessary amount on a plate and use it up. However, white paints called Gofun and pigments are made by crushing a lot of paints, so there may be a surplus. Since they cannot be stored, I prepared another panel and used it as a base. This time I am making a panel for F0 size practice at the same time.

I love this painting so much, I've watched it multiple times. Absolutely stunning. I would however not mix real natural cinnabar with my fingers without gloves or anything as it is mercury and although less toxic because it's not heated, it still is toxic. I love the texture and slight reflectivity these pigments have and would love one day to learn this beautiful medium. Sadly as I'm not Japanese and cannot read the language and don't live in the country I think it would be very hard to obtain the truly traditional materials required to learn such amazing techniques. Thank you so much for sharing your culture with us 💜 I am in awe of your talent and skills. Such a pleasure to watch.
I think the artwork and craftsmanship is exquisite. I am hooked. Its 3am here in Toronto and I am so deeply enchanted by your art! One question, the spoon in water seems like rusty does it effect any of the colors?

Can I ask what is this you are painting on is it a canvas, and are you using mica to turn into an oil type paint. Initially I thought you were painting watercolour? It's so beautiful by the way
Hello Kaiteki, may I ask you for guidance? Is it possible to mix iwa enogu colours with two different particle sizes? Example, particle no.10 and no.13. Thank you very much ❤
