This is a painting process of Japanese art called "Nihonga".
This artwork was painted by Miwa Hiduki.

I drew this work at the request of a temple called "Kougenji."
You can always see this work at this temple.
This temple has many works of art related to dragons, and many dragons will welcome you!

絵本作家ののぶみさんが、胎内記憶のある子供たちから今の地震を龍が散らしてくれて大きな揺れにならないように頑張ってくれているそうです。千葉の香取神宮に、ありがとうございますの気持ちを込めて、お参りして来ました。平日なのに沢山の人がお参りに来ていました。龍なんかいるのかなと小さい頃から思っていましたが、大人になった今龍はいると本気で思っています。日本人が沢山祈って大難を小難に小難を無難にと祈りを拡げて行きましょう。

Oh my goodness!! This is such an amazing painting! It’s so beautiful, the colors are blended so wonderfully, the detail is exquisite, this is amazing! You have such wonderful talent and dedication!! It looks like it could come to life at any moment it’s so detailed!!! I cannot imagine how long this took but it’s just so beautiful!

"... what an art, what a process,..." No kidding! At the same time, when she first started on the background I kinda flashed back on Paul Newman throwing cans of paint on a canvas to the tune of wild music in the movie "What a Way to Go!" (1964, Shirley McClain, Dick van Dyke, Gene Kelley, Paul Newman, et. al.) Then I was momentarily horrified then I remembered from previous videos not to panic. My God, Miwa Haduki is bloody awesome!

I am in love with the colors! The blues, purples, pinks, greens and gold! The Lotus flower is so beautiful and gorgeous!! The dragon looks so divine and handsome! A perfect balance between delicate and strength!! Edit: the Lotus flower looks like the crystal lotus flower that I have on my desk.

おすすめで出会いました( ¯−¯ )。すごい世界です。龍がすきです。我が子にも辰年で龍が生まれる、とつけました。幾重にも色や筆を重ねて重ねて、魅入りました。線だけでなく幾何学模様もあり柔らかい曲線もあり、段々魂が入っていく、息を吹き込まれていく様は感無量です。いつか目の前にして見たいですね。

I appreciate art. I apppreciate paintings. But i have never seen a painting that I would want tomown and look at every day. This dragon changed that. The depth, the detail, the incredible artistic craftsmanship. The fluidity of line, the harmonious color palette. It is stunning. I could gaze upon in everyday, and see some new detail. 緻密な気の遠くなる作業と岩絵の具の繊細な色合い。。そして仕上がった時の幻想的な昇り竜に感動！金箔をはっていたので、金色の絵の具は昔の日本にはなかったのか－。としみじみ思いました。サムネのタイトルに惹かれ、何気なく見た動画でしたが、こういう素敵な絵を描く作家さんのことが知れて素晴らしい休日となりました。
