I love the Andes, they are so fascinating to read about how old civs and new civs use them to their advantage! Great video ☺️

Good video, just a few things: Common misconception, Pizarro allied with all the conquered peoples of the Inca, who rebelled after Atahualpa was captured, Lima was built near Pizarro's native allies and most battles where tens of thousands of natives on both sides, with a small Spanish core of lancers who were able to disrupt the native lines. Then through intermarriage the rebels solidified the alliance with Pizarro and the Spaniards, who's sons and daughters were the first mestizo whom comprise most of the population of Peru today. Native nobility was respected and integrated into the empire, and in fact were the main allies of the Spanish during independence, since they would end up losing all their noble privilegies after the republic was founded. Most of the rebels were from the north and the coast specially, comprised from the kingdoms of the Moche, Ichma (lima culture), Chincha, Chimú, Chachapoya, etc. Bolivar is hated in Peru. PD: Peru has an inequality Index (GINI) of 0.42 one of the lowest in Latam. USA has 0.39.
