[ASMR] Plug hole repair. ネジ山の壊れたプラグホールの修理

Today I repaired a plug hole.The owner of this bike screwed the plug in at an angle, breaking the threads and making the hole oval.It was impossible to tap and repair the engine while it was still on the bike.So I disassembled the head and repaired it.Since the hole was oval, I could not repair it with just the tap attached to RECOIL.So I used the milling machine to make the correct horizontal and vertical, re-drill and repair.
今日はプラグホールの修理です。オーナーさんがプラグを斜めにネジ込んでしまったため、プラグホールのネジ山が崩れ、穴も楕円になってしまいました。車載状態でタップで修正を試みるも、ちゃんと修正できなかったので、ヘッドを降ろして修正しました。ねじ山が少しでも生きていればリコイルのタップのみで修理可能な場合もありますが、今回は穴が楕円になっておりガイドのタップが入っていかなかったため、フライス盤で水平垂直を出した上に下穴処理し、リコイル修理を行いました。

Hell of a job to do! I'm about to pull out my 4cyl engine out of the frame, for a similar job. Time-sert (Wurth) or Helicoil ? What would you recommend? Is it going to hold up against 13000rpm harmonics and 12something to 1 compression ratio?

I think what he did there was drilled a larger hole, tapped it, and the "recoil" kit he used is a sleeve like a nut with thread also on the outside. Screwed and secured the sleeve onto the new tapped hole and have a thread for the spark plug in there.

最後のエンジン始動でフライホイールがめちゃ軽い音がしてますね レーサーなんですかねぇ

組み付け時軍手を使わず素手が良いですね。👍軍手は細かい毛がE/g内部に入ってしまいますからね。また、タペット調整や最後にエキパイをウエスで拭き取るところも仕事の丁寧さが滲み出てますね。😉👍✨案外ロッカーシャフト外してもタペット調整しない人いますからね。

#46works I have an issue with one of my lug bolts on my car on the rear wheel. The thread is about to go on one of the lug bolts. The thread is in the disk brake and the disks are nearly new. When i had the winter wheels installed i think the guy did something and damaged the thread and now when i had the summer wheels instaled at a different shop, they found the thread to be affected but it still tightened nearly to full torque but next time will most probably fail. Would it be ok to use a helicoil on it? It's a metric lug bolt M12x1.25. Thanks.
