I started talking to myself in the same manner last year as opposed to listening to my thoughts. And it practically saved my life. There's something about speaking affirmations out loud to yourself that gets your brain to cooperate much faster than simply battling negative thoughts internally.

This is such a beautiful video. It can be really difficult to believe some of these affirmations when the world (and maybe even people closest to you in your life) seem to be always telling you aren't good enough and you are flawed or broken etc. When you described "giving it a try because you have nothing to lose" and starting to "talk to yourself instead of listening to yourself", I really FELT all of it on a deep level. I will be revisiting this video a lot, I really enjoyed your other videos as well but it was really awesome to be introduced to you through this one. Keep up the great work my friend :)

I keep returning to this video randomly when I search for "positive affirmations" phrase again. The choice of lines here is so good, not over the top like in some other videos, where they want you to belive you're a demigod. Just the basic everyday things you should know about yourself, and which of course your subconsciousness doubts and responds with the inner chatter that you mention. Plus you have good pronounciation or just good microphone - it's really easy and enjoyable to listen to you.
