ASMR POV Trucking: NJTP S & NJR-73 S

Today we travel from the end of I-276, through NJ Turnpike S, and NJ Route 73 S to the Lowe's in Vorhees, NJ. A couple hiccups on the way to make it a little interesting. Should've named this one "Moronic greenhorn trucker pretends to know what he is doing".

That's the plan! I'm either going to stay with these guys for 1 year and consider going to Weis, or for 3 years and consider Walmart. All depends if I want to make trucking a 9-5 job or not 🤣 Or maybe I will stay with these guys, who knows. Thanks for sticking around and commenting again, good to see you!

That International is sounding good. Looks like you have the hang of it. What kind of engine does McElroy spec in their trucks?

Thanks! I know the newer LTs have Cummins engines so I assume mine is the same but it acts a lot different then my mentor's LT so I'm not entirely sure. I have a 17 Prostar

Appreciate the update. I know the MaxxForce is a Navistar engine. Wonder if MaxxForce engine has given issues and that's why they are switching over to Cummins. Anyways, be safe out there!

There's only 2 other McElroy drivers in the whole state of PA, and we're really busy with the Hagerstown Lowe's DC up here so I'm unofficially dedicated out of specifically this Lowe's DC.

Sorry to comment again but my first delivery actually came from down there I just remembered. I picked up live loaded lumber from Weyerhaeuser in Millport off the state route there and it came all the way up to Cresco PA, it's up in the Poconos. My final week of training was down there in Cuba then they gave us a load that Friday heading to home. I was lucky and got one load that went all the way, it was like 1,200 miles total cause I had to truck swap after I picked up back at Cuba.

@@brenton9032 Awesome company to start with or gain flatbed experience. They pay really well, starting pay is 55 CPM if you have no experience. Benefits are crazy low cost, for the whole package I pay $11 a week. Dispatching and everything is pretty laid back. There's times I've gone some odd 30 miles out of route on a 200 some mile delivery just because some state routes seem sketchy or I want to avoid Baltimore and I've never heard a single word from the company as long as I'm on time, they don't care much about anything else (in the good way) as long as you're a safe driver and get there on time. I really like my dispatcher and I get no surprises. Hardest place I've been to was the Lowe's on 50th St in Philly and that's just about the most difficult drop point in the whole company. VERY straight forward
