For me its mainly the gestures that give me the tingles, and not the sound of the items themselves necessarily. So I miss when you didn't edit out the "in-betweens", picking up the items from the counter, handling them, putting them back carefully, lining them up, counting them, those are the stuff that I love

Well, let me correct this statement. These kind of ASMR videos (and specially Emma's) are meant to get relaxed and find peace from whatever stresses your days. I don't think you would be an addict of listening anything via earphones, but I do think you are looking for the positive results, which I mentioned above. Therefore you are not an addict of ASMR, but only want to find relaxation and peace, which is a general need of our body to recover from exhaustion, so this need is not an addiction. ;)
