KZbin stayed basically business as usual but videos like her recent therapist role plays are quite a bit less light hearted when you've seen her rant about how our generation is doomed for not surrendering itself to Christian fundamentalism. There's still a bunch of that going on on her Instagram I believe. And none of it is satire unfortunately.

Those words, “bell jar?” I think that’s a reference to the great poet, Sylvia Plath’s novel, “The Bell Jar.” Plath’s brilliant poetry is a trip into her own inner trauma/turmoil she suffered throughout her short life. @lizingram2415 I dislike comments like this because for people who know (Angelica having a very online meltdown because of a personal loss in her family), we have accepted that she's flawed and continue to support her for her art regardless; no one's perfect. The most frustrating part is she's ALWAYS been Christian and had centrist (not left, but not right) politics, like most people IRL; her videos prior were proof of that fact (reading Mao on the 4th of July vs. reading Ted Kaczynski's, the Unabomber, notes). People don't just "leave" the watchtower (Jehovah's Witness) and have no prior beliefs, which is true of most Christian faiths and religion in general. From what I've seen on tiktok, she's been thrown under the bus for her comments, so I can only imagine what else is happening in other spaces. How they talk about her is beyond cruel given what happened, especially when she has no power to enact her reactionary beliefs; it's another classic case of mob behavior inspired by social media. I don't agree with her comments, especially as a queer person and an atheistic satanist, but even I can empathize with a person who's clearly hurting and has never openly talked about her beliefs before her loss. She still has over 600k subscribers (minus the recent loses), but I feel like every other comment now is either people praising her work, feelings sorry for her, or teasing out her reactionary statement that aren't online anymore (besides people who archived them). People aren't allowed to be complicated and it's a problem that social media makes worse.
