I love the part where you start pulling cards out of sleeves and reorganize them. I can barley keep my eyes open for that part. Have to admit that the card ripping does pull me right out of my tingles though.

There was a post about a gameshop or tabletop bar decorating the toilet floor with MTG cards in a cool circular pattern. All these cards could be used to make a geek corner or something.

This is my favorite of your magic videos so far. Although 99% of people won’t play these cards, some game stores will give store credit, and sometimes cash, for bulk like this. My store buys bulk at $2/1000 cards. I have also donated bulk cards to my friend’s kids who are getting into the game.

I had a bunch of junk rares and old cards that I couldn't get rid of and some guy at the LGS overheard me trying to get rid of them and asked if he could have them for his kid so they could learn the game so I gave him like 10 of these boxes and it was the best to know I could pass that joy onto someone else.

@@xpkryanx OP is being a tad dramatic. But some kids don’t get anything at all, regardless of cost. For environmental reasons as well as passing it on to some kid who could really enjoy it, I’d say definitely don’t throw them away.

I guess these are "common" cards. I used to play Magic when they first came out. I had an early set of "Revised" or 4th edition. Some of those common cards that were worthless then, like 25 cents/ card are now worth $5/ card, like Lightning Bolt. Earlier versions can go for $20 - 400/ card. So you never really know with collectibles. If you have the space, just put it in the corner of the attic.
