There's another story that I know that involves a snake being a twin to a royal baby, it's called "Bianca Bella." Instead of it being about a prince trying to help his older twin snake brother find a bride; It's about a snake helping her younger human twin princess sister win back her man, who was tricked into almost marrying a cruel witch's daughter.

This tale is reminiscent of Prince Lyndworm, which you have also read. OverlySarcasticProductions did a short video on Lyndworm which I would definitely recommend for the "sarcastic comic book" style of storytelling.
